Every player on their team is being evaluated for the future. Players don’t care about a team’s draft status next year. They want to play well and look good. Many are auditioning for a job with other teams next year.

I expect the commanders to be motivated and play hard. Which is why the Cowboys must get on them early and snuff out any chance this inferior team can gain confidence. Get up on them by 2 scores early and keep the pedal down. An early show of Cowboys dominance could end this early. BUT…an early show of poor execution and effort by the Cowboys could open the door for a tough game too.

In the end, the Cowboys should win this going away.

Bottom line......we should come to play and not dismiss the Commanders in any way......this is a rivalry, and nothing would soothe the Commanders plight than to spoil the 'Boys' day. It's not different than our only victory in the 1-15 season. We need to beat them down early before we allow strange things to surface.

They have no-one to threaten on the edges. Payne will occasionally provide some inside. If the weather clears up by gamete Sunday evening, there is no reason why the offense should not be able to move up and down the field. Not to mention, they are resting/missing a bunch of their starters.

I mean they are a bad team so I can't say how easy it will be it is a divisional game and they get to play spoiler. The front office I'm sure wants them to lose. But I don't know if those players want to.

This game means something and that usually means that the Cowboys will underperform. Would love to see a blowout though going into the postseason.
