SD: Cowboys should be praying they don't face Giants a third time this season

Interesting point...never thought of that.

And it would be a huge advantage for us. Teams struggle playing 2 consecutive road games (hell, our stinker at NY was directly after a road game against MIN). Imagine the toll playing 3 consecutive road games takes, let alone 4.

Honestly though, I don't think NY will make it past the wildcard round anyway, obviously I could be wrong though.

Bring them on.

They barely beat us both times. If they can beat us 3 times in 1 season than good for them but that is too tough against a team like Dallas.

Agree. If we don't beat ourselves with penalties, and dropped Ints , and take away the always fluke play against them ... ball off Wittens ankle, Crayton stops route, Dez 1 finger out of end zone, most recently Bailey doinker off cross bar, and we roll them....

Great? Dak was exceptional against Tampa. Surgical precision. Wasn't it 90% completion despite two drops?

I used to think this too, but he has been pretty bad with his analysis and prone to extreme hyperbole this year.
I usally find his analysis to be pretty spot on...not always, but most of the time, IMO. As for the hyperbole, he's not even in the same league as the other mediots, IMO. I simply don't even bother clicking on the other guys stuff most of the time. I get suckered in occasionally, but it's rare. :)

This is dumb. I'm not scared of the Giants at all. They have beat us by a combined 4 points. First game was Dak's first pro game. The 2nd game was his worst game as a pro. We were in both games and a couple things go just a little different we win both games. I promise you every body on our team would love to play the Giants again. I hope we see them in the playoffs.
The Giants also suck on the road. It would be in Arlington

Giants shot their wad or showed all their cards. Dallas will most def. have a counter giants haven't seen.

And this will take us over the top on a potential rematch. They barely beat us. Won't happen again. Believe that.

The Giants get up to play this team like no other and I've yet to see the feeling be reciprocated from our squad. The bravado sounds good but count me in as someone who would rather not face the Giants again this year.

I think they better have a counter, because to go out of the playoffs at home against the Giants...

Let's just say it wouldn't be pretty in here. That said, I like their chances at home, in a warmer, not hostile environment.

Understood. They will. This team is too good and knows what's at stake.

I don't want to play them a third time either. Not the best match up but it will be a good game.

I would say Atlanta is our worst match-up, but Giants and Green Bay won't be easy either. The defense impressed me those against Tampa Bay. If we can start getting a little more pressure (even if not sacks) then we have a good chance of going a long way this year.

In the 2007 season, we played the Giants 3 times. Beat them the first 2 & lost the 3rd ( in the Playoffs). I wouldn't mind us getting the same outcome, given they ended up IN the Super Bowl & Winning it, shortly thereafter.

I'm praying we do. Eli is awful. their running backs suck, and their OL sucks.

we won't face a more flawed team in the playoffs.

I don't fear the Giants. They are just not dynamic enough to be feared. They can't run the ball and they have to hit the big play to move the ball. On defense their corners always match up well with us on the outside, and they cheat inside. At some point Dak has to show that he is willing to go deep to Dez when he has single coverage on the outside. Right now he looks for Witten and Bease underneath for the most part on those routes. This is where Dez has the advantage on JJ, not on slants and underneath/inside routes, those are catering to Jenkins quickness. I don't think they will be able to stop our run game again either.
