I can see a scenario wher Dallas trades down to 12 or so, uses the extra 2nd and 3rd to move up the 20s while still keeping 34.

1-12...Gets DE Lawson or DT Rankins (Or someone else)
1-23...gets Lynch
2-34...gets DE Dodd or DT Vernon
Etc

I d love that. Wishful but it is possible

I like him but still think he could drop to us at 34. Carr and Bridgewater were slotted as mid first round two years ago and both were taken at the top of the second.

I don't think Lynch will be there at 34. Unlike Bridgewater, Lynch has above average size and athleticism, that will have a lot of NFL executives pretty excited.

If you feel Lynch, Goff or Wentz are a future franchise QB you take him at 4. The last thing you do is get cute and trade down expecting him to be there waiting on you.

I've said this all along but they (Jerry) likes to wheel and deal.

You make sense, but I would gamble and trade down for Lynch, but not for Goff, or Wentz.

Bridgewater went 32 last pick of the first round. 5th year option that way and the Vikes traded back into the first for him.

If he's still there in the mid/late 20s , Dallas' 2nd and one 4th will do it if they can find a partner.
Need to get ahead of Denver at the very, I would think

Yeah. Lynch at 4 is not happening ... Zero risk in trading down some if he's the target...

I want to believe that.....but is the risk worth it?

I have no idea what the draft board is but I can see Wentz being taken before our pick and Goff rated too low to take at 4 (again, the Dallas draft board hasn't been built yet).

But if you have Lynch as a first rounder on your board and think he may drop, or think Dak Prescott is a second rounder and can trade up in the late second, either of those options are better than forcing a pick at 4 that is overdrafting Goff. It does seem like there are enough QB prospects in the late first to early 3rd that Dallas can get a good player.

I have him as the #2 QB behind Wentz. Wentz is more well rounded, Lynch has a great arm though. I'll take him driving the ball over Goff floating it

I would be pretty intrigued if he was at 34, but I wouldn't make any deals to go up. Frankly, he's got bust practically stamped on his forehead. None of these overgrown, small forward-sized quarterbacks have ever done squat in the NFL. The typical franchise QB still looks like Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers, not Shawn Marion.

If he's falls to the second... okay... if not, give me a defensive player in the first... Cook in the second...

that auburn game exposed some flaws..

Leave it to this FO to do anything but what's normal. Sometimes abnormal turns out good but hasn't worked out for us for the most part as of late.
1 month away. Can't wait.
