Sean Lee could lose 2m if he sits Sunday

Don't know what the contract says. I do know like they did with Mincie last year they paid the bonus anyway.

The $2M in question regards Sean Lee's 2016 base salary.

If Lee plays 80% of the defensive snaps this season, it will increase his '16M base salary from $3M to $5M.

5 mill in base is a steal for what Lee brings. Snaps or not, pay the man

This is one problem with contracts that are incentive laden. They can create hard feelings.

There is no right answer here. The incentives are there for a reason. He has missed a lot of time.

But he had made over 18m the last 3 seasons and completely missed 2014.

It doesn't help that they may not want to actually win. Does an injured Lee help or hurt that cause??

While I love Sean Lee, he does us no good sitting on the bench or on the couch. No pity for him, hes still making more this year then I will my entire career. (ok I dont really know if this is true, but you get my point, hes not hurting in the cash department)

So why play him for 1 snap if youre just going to pay him anyway? Either let him play enough snaps to earn it, play him normally, or sit him.
