Lee has played hurt. No one can play injured. Is Brian Urlacher a man? He was hurt plenty. How about Troy Polamula? The guy isn't trying to get hurt to miss games. Gimme a break.
Those guys had Hall of Fame careers. You want to know why Sean Lee is never in the conversation for best LBer in the NFL? Because most people don't even know who he is. He hasn't played long enough to build a name for himself. Sean Lee is much more highly regarded by Cowboys fans than the rest of the world. Everyone knew Urlacher and Polamalu.

Let's consider another guy coming off a knee injury? Yeah, that makes a ton of sense.
Did not say it should be plan A. Or even Plan B.

Practically any veteran MLB worth anything right now is going to have something wrong with him.

If you are saying Hitchens or bust? Fine with that too. At this point, it is just chuckle, shake your head and just acknowledge Lee's yearly thing is par for the course.

I feel sorry for him but maybe it's time Sean thought about life after football. He's hurt too much.

They should cut ties with Lee. I hate to see him go but he can't be depended on at all

He had a knee injury in college. Players recover from them all the time. Marcus Lattimore completely blew out his knee twice and was still drafted by that joke of an organization the Niners.

Please tell me you didn't use Marcus Lattimore as an example of someone who "recovered" from a knee injury in college... Has he even taken a snap yet?

I do not think cutting him is a viable option. Even though his contract is incentive based, a believe a lot accelerates if he is just cut.

I would move on figuratively as opposed to physically. MLB just shot to the top of the list for 2015 if Hitchens, Carter, Holloman etc., cannot hold down the job.

We will just get a cheerful "how's it goin', guys! Just to let everyone know that Sean Lee will have an MRI today. I will take any questions." {crazy eyes}

You got him down pat... bravo.. ha

I'm not gonna read 10+ pages. I'm sure what I'm gonna say has been said many times.

I love Sean Lee, we all do but he sure is fragile. He's the Miles Austin on our defense with way better talent.
If he could stay healthy this defense wouldn't be as bad as it was at the end of the season.
We won't win without him and we never have him when we need need him the most.

How come when anyone has access to the internet they're automatically a sedentary person who can't lift a phone book?

Because most interweb/forum provocateurs try very hard to project an aura of invincibility coupled with the omnipotence of a god. The aforementioned is usually indicative of some weak wristed type taking out his or her angst against his or her betters. If you know what to look for, it is pretty easy to spot.

They also took a late round flyer on him, not trading an additional pick to acquire him. Lee cost a 2nd and a 4th.
