jrumann, I get your take. I see it a little different.

1) Sean took a lesser role and allowed Jaylon and LVE to be the main guys.
2) He has spent a lot of time mentoring the LBs and not kept everything to himself

I like Witten, but he was know for not be especially helpful to the younger TEs.

Just one man's opinion.
Doesn't matter either way really. Dallas was bidding against itself for Lee. If anything he has been as much of a hinderance, every position he has played he has stopped the team from looking to upgrade him. When he was the WILL they drafted Smith to be the MIKE, LVE was drafted to be an eventual replacement only to replace Lee because his body failed him AGAIN.

Relying on LVE with a fused vertebrae, let alone Lee, was asinine.. And then there is Smith.

We literally have the worst LB Corp in the NFL now. Any legit QB is going to have a field-day against this defense, unless somebody shows something. This is going to be mediocre Kitna exposing Brady James levels on a weekly basis it seems.

Guess you forgot his injury has nothing to do with his neck.

Wow, the hits keep on coming. They kept Bernard on the PS protected but wouldn’t move him up for some reason.

What is our LB depth chart now?

Its funny. So many hated Witten for blocking younger players but he was available every Sunday, did his production match that of a younger player, no. But he was reliable. Lee is Mr. Glass to Witten's unbreakable.

Lee stepped aside and was playing behind the youth.

He is also a very smart player that can help the young players out while still playing at a above average level when healthy.

I guess I don't get the Lee hate. Some team would've probably rolled the dice to have him as a starter and he took less to be a backup. Unfortunately he has a hernia.

Hope he recovers and is back for the 2nd half of the season.

I would like to see him cap his career this year with a ring.

No, I was not expecting him to be a full time starter this year.

Nobody has been a bigger Sean Lee fan than me but it's time for him to hang it up. By the time he's cleared to go in 6 weeks he won't be in good condition to play.

Last year for Lee. Loved watching him play but that time should be over in a few months.

I see glass Lee is back in the Doctor's room again. Should've been let go 4 years ago. Jerry will never learn, that's why Moore is OC.
