Sean Payton > Bill Parcells

Are we void of talent? Thanks for proving my point...

On the offensive and defensive line Dallas is definately lacking talent. Which of the play off teams were worse up front thent Dallas? Having talent at the flashy positions like WR dont mean jack if you cant win the battles in the trenches.

Isn't this the same guy who needed to be run out of town last year because of how terrible he was in Dallas?

Yeah, he ran right into a head coaching job.

So you're saying that we're a less talented team than the Saints? I respectfully disagree. I would put money on the fact that you would not have (or did not) said that before they spanked us in our own house... Keep right on making your point today though.

Our coaching held us back big time this year. Big time...

Anyone disagree?

especially those 3 straight PASSES (0-3) with 6 min left when they're thrashing the DL and next series the PITCHBACK/fumble. LOL. ROTFLMAO

lucky breaks count for something though.

that is the type of playcalling that got him canned in NY.

Bunch of fair weather fans starting threads again.

And what if Payton had lost tonight? One season compared to a guy who has been coaching for like 40 years. Very profound thread to say the least.

Payton didn't do anything miraculous tonight that Parcells didn't do against Seattle. We had the Romo and Glenn mistakes. Romo actually called the audible to Glenn on that fumble too, so there's not much Parcells can do about that. We were in a position to win that game...that's what the coaching did for us.

The Saints players capitilized on that and Romo screwed it up for us. There comes a point where coaching can't do it all.

What a dumb thread...most of you Parcells haters are the most accomplished fair weather fans of any team. Kudos.

ZZZZ... I have been steadfast in my belief that Parcells has been a major part of the problem and the largest reason why we've been mediocre over the last 4 years. So take that fairweather crap elsewhere.

Try and review some posting history before you make empty claims.

When all else fails blame the coaches. Its BP fault that Rivera was getting pushed around all season. Its his fault the Oline couldnt block anyone or protect Romo against decent teams. Its BP fault that Spears, Canty and Ferguson cant rush the QB. Its BPs fault that the LBs continually had blown assignments. Its all BP fault that Roy Williams is horrible in space. If you really think that replacing BP will solve all the issues on this team your mistaken.

Lots of jealous Cowboy fans talkin smack about Payton and the Saints. The out coached, out hussled and out played the Boys this year. Yes, I also believe The Tuna is old and his play calling sucks! I betcha he does NOT come back, I am praying he does not.

Now that Zimmer is gone from coaching under Parcells, he will probably have success in Atlanta... like Payton

Yeah we know.. every young buck that ever won more than 10 games in a season is better than BP.

From Jim Mora Jr going to an NFC Championship his first year after they were 5-11 the year before and is now looking for work.... to Gruden who won the SB his first year in TB and has been 10 games under .500 since.

The coach is ultimately responsible for 4 years of the same old crap.

He plays in the scheme set forth by Parcells and was selected to start on the Parcells oline so... ?

It's his fault for not insisting on improving the oline even more this past offseason. That is the heart of the team and our heart isn't very big.

It's Bill's fault he elected to go to a 3-4 and keep a 4-3 coach on board that was vocally not on board with the change due to his admitted inexperience coaching the 3-4. He should have brought in a 3-4 mind to get these guys ready..

As am I sir.

Or maybe just maybe the players arent as good as most of the fans want them to be. Heart comes from within, thinking BP can give these players heart is funny. Sorry there is no magic brick road that leads you to all the answers either. Sorry, hate to break it to you. All a coach can do is try and get his players ready to do their job, after that it is on the players to go out and execute it.

Then ultimately Parcells needs to exit stage left. This team is not void of talent.

That's one more than our boy Bill this year. I'm more of a "what have you done for me lately" guy. Historically nothing can argue Bill's incredible coaching resume. However, the older Bill Parcells is definitely < Sean Payton.
so, if we win a playoff game next year and Payton doesn't, is older Parcells better than Payton then? It's extremely early to say anything definitive at tjhis point in time.

Not saying they are void of talent but the are definately missing some pieces on the Oline and in the front 7 on defense. Every game Dallas struggled in was vs teams that dominated the LOS vs them.

In fact all NFC coaches whose teams arent still playing need to be canned right now.

For the Saints to be doing this shows they all suck.
