I don't know. He probably would have caught the ball, if he could've raised his other arm up to it.
I believe that too but I really don't like the play call. I will say this it was a one option throw and it was to the guy you gave up a number 1 for so I am happy about that but I still am not a fan of the call.

And I don’t mean garret. What a dumb decision by Payton to call a time out with 2.03 on the clock. That jus gave us license to pass the ball.

Is anyone going to criticize the wonder boy coach?
Nice to see the shoe on the other foot for a change.

His early challenge cost them too, because Beasely was clearly short on tbat 4th qtr 3rddown conversion.
He also passed on taking the 3 points early...though I get that to some degree

Real nice

Peyton was atrocious the 1st half. Every now and then you get a gimme game. This was his. Saints will be back on track next week. Garrett-top’s biggest goof was keeping Gregory in the game.

I don't say this often, but Garrett was the smarter game time head coach tonight.

As someone who is far from a Garrett supporter, I got to give him credit for not doing anything monumentally stupid like the 3 mistakes Payton made.

The first challenge was iffy, at best.
The second challenge was stupid so early in the game with losing the first challenge.
The last time out BEFORE the 2 minute warning for a measly 3 seconds?

Let me put it this way, if Garrett did those, I might have started a Fire Garrett thread for as bad as those 3 were.

Hater? Just stating the obvious. We have major game management problems and this was one of them bailed out by a tricky tack PI call.

Lol...clear PI, and Payton was stupid. Admit it...lol

I was glad to see it. Maybe being in the same proximity as Garrett influenced him?

Was there? Ifs and sh*** are for fools.
Still not a good call and not a thread worth creating. To magnify a meaningless call by a coach who won a Super Bowl when we have a guy who has literally found every possible way to lose a game is just plane stupid.

He lost the game? That loss is on Sean Payton? Did you watch any of the game? Our Defense WON the game. They didn't lose because he called a timeout before the two minute warning.

Payton made several boneheaded decision. Going for it on 4th down early in the game against our defense instead of taking a gimme FG? Wasted his challenges early for no huge reason. Just dumb.

No he made the dumb challenge that left him with none to challenge Beasley 1st down, left 3 on the 4th down call, and the timeout. Yeah it's on him,
