Sean Payton really hurt his team in the end.

Taking that timeout 3 seconds before the two-minute warning was stupid. If he would have let it run to the two-minute warning, Dallas would have run the ball and played the clock game.

Instead, Payton gave Dallas a free pass play. No need to run the ball when the clock is going to stop anyway at the two-minute warning.

Throw, interference, ball game.

Kudos to Dallas for seeing that at the time. A lot of coaches (including Garrett) often miss these subtleties in the heat of the moment. Payton certainly screwed it up.

And should have taken the 3 points in 1st half too.

You’d never know the Saints were 10-1.

It’s one game . We’ll take it but I’m still concerned about our offense. This game shouldn’t have been close.
