Eli and Dak are average QB's. Let's get off that non-sense. Eli was 10 or 11 years ago, COMPLETELY different time. This is now a throwing NFL league in the playoffs; Rams, Chiefs, Bills, Brady's Patriots,( for years), even Nick F. threw for 400 yards while Brady threw for 500 that game. Our playoff run is about Dak throwing the pigskin, not Zeke and Pollard! so, if you guys believe Mr. Checkdown is gonna take us to 3 road wins that is your right to believe.

When's the last time we won a Super Bowl off of Troy or Roger's arm ? Never. Our playoff run will be based on THE DALLAS COWBOYS, ALL OF THEM!

The QB influences the outcome of games more than any other position but you still need a solid team around your QB to win a championship. Solid teams have won championships without having a great QB. There’s some pretty average QBs like Mark Rypien, Jim McMahon, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, and Nick Foles that have won Super Bowls. As for your comment about Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin. Where would Irvin without Aikman? They needed each other. A QB and receiver go hand-in-hand.
Thank You for proving my point. Where would any of them be without the Great Wall ? So yes I absolutely agree ? It takes 11

Dak is not Mahomes or Brady but there have been plenty of average or below average quarterbacks lead a team to the big dance, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Jeff Hostetler, even Joe Namath in the big picture wasn't considered great and there are 1/2 dozen others who weren't as good as Dak or Romo for that matter numbers wise. This team has all the ingredients to make a serious run if we play to our strengths and do not make mistakes/turnovers, Jerry was right to call out Dak, he has 9 INt's in 8 games this year, he only had 10 in 16 games in 2021, we need Dak to not force the ball, play smarter take a loss or run for 4 yards and slide but don't force the ball into coverage, you don't find that open guy throw it away. Our offensive strength this year is our running game by far, control the line of scrimmage the pass will be there at some point, we seem to be doing better on the penalty's, we have a top 3 defense and a very good special teams' unit, we have play makers everywhere you look and we have a top 6 or 7 QB "IMO" who just needs to manage the game and not make mistakes.

:flagwave::popcorn::dance:

Absolutely and we need Jerry to remind KM of what we do well. Run the ball and open up the pass off of the run game. Dak can take his shots on play action etc. This is a ground and pound team. Dak will do great in those game plans.

Amen.. We would all love to see the Cowboys get back to ground and pound.. Possess the ball and let the defense eat after 10 minutes of rest. I just have given up on seeing that mode of attack with Moore and Dak together.. One or both of them loses patience too quickly. I don't know which one it is.. but until it gets fixed.. we fans are going to continue to be frustrated with our team.

Last week was KM. Then you could see him wake up after halftime and we ran the ball like 11 straight times. Doofus should've been doing a lot more of that early in the game, against a historically bad run defense.

It's like I keep saying and many other ex players have echoed.. Moore has plays.. but he doesn't have a "scheme" .. He simply does not appear to understand how to fully maximize what his individual players do well. I'm willing to give him somewhat of a pass on putting the deep passes to Pollard back under wraps until the playoffs.. or not showing the "Turpin package" as well. But there are things that are a staple of our offense that we can't seem to find the right time to use them consistently.. Lamb in the slot.. Dak throwing on the move.. Pollard and Zeke in the game at the same time.. and I don't mean one at wide receiver.. I mean both of them in the backfield mind ****** the defensive front as to which guy they want to try and focus on. All we can do is hope and pray somebody hires this dude away in the offseason cause much as it pains me to say, Jerry aint gonna fire him.

Hasn’t Dallas won 3 straight already?

Yeah people act as if the Cowboys have never won 3 straight games with Dak at the helm. And in the same breath try to convince us that QBs have to be completely turnover free to get to the Super Bowl. Both a false narratives.. but we both know they aint goin nowhere.

So the guy who is supposedly the leader of our team and handles the ball more than anyone and is due 49 million next season should be on the same level of accountability as one of our players making 2 million for the season?
You Dak Zombies have a very unique way of seeing things....:confused:

No it doesn’t.

The season comes down to the team playing good football down the stretch. If we want to make a playoff run we also need more talented teams (Phi, SF) slipping.

My biggest concerns in the playoffs are pass protection, WR play and run defense. If we end up losing I have a strong feeling one or all of those will be the primary reason. Dak can’t win or lose in the playoffs by himself.
Man...I have to give it you ya. You definitely have your excuses ready.

I don’t make excuses. I could care less who the QB is. I don’t get attached to any of the players.

I want the team to win. Dak gives us the best chance to win. I go by stats and metrics. Not by feelings or who the player is.

Yea, you can look them up just like anyone on here. And what does taking statistics classes have to with anything? That was incredibly random. A 10 year old could take the info I’ve provided and understand what it means.

I very rarely make claims without any kind of stat / metric to back up what I’m saying. There’s a lot of great info out there so no reason to use the “eyeball test” any more. Incredibly shallow approach IMO.

It was not a random question, and any 10 year old can be easily be fooled using stats. Lets use a crossing route where one W is really being used as a pick... uhm, like would happen to free CeeDee. So if Gallup runs a route but his sole purpose in the route is to free up someone else, is that route used in these stats that show no separation? And this is the NFL, there is rarely much separation, and when there is, its often a blown coverage or a pick pay was used.

Also, lets look at the contested balls caught, Gallup catches the ball, Brown catches the ball... we have the 1st or 2nd scoring offense since Dak has returned.... you dont do that without having skilled players around the lineup.

Do yuo think it is a coincdence that the chiefs still score in bunches yet they have a bunch of avg receivers. Ill take our Wrs vs the chiefs.

Moore’s scheme has caused Dak to the throw the most INTs in the league since Week 8.

#ITSNOTDAKSFAULT:rolleyes:
