Season has not started and all I hear is complaining

It's not a comparison. Some posters on here are expressing this thought... if Dak hasn't done it , then Dak will never do it. So my post about Elway is to combat that thought. In other words, you can't really tell how a player will be remember until that players playing days are done. It took Elway awhile to win it all.

So not a comparison, just me combating the Dak is done mindset.
Some here don't think Dak can even get us to a SB. Elway at least got to 3 in 4 years.

Elway taking Denver to three SBs in the 80s and getting blown out by three vastly superior teams was akin to LeBron dragging the corpse of the Cleveland Cadavers to to the 2007 NBA finals.

Again.... quarterbacks dont just "get to Superbowls" by themselves. Trent Dilpher and Nick Foles have won more Superbowl wins than Marino, Warren Moon, and Cunningham. Dilpher and Foles both have the same amount of Superbowl rings as Rodgers and Mahomes.

Foles even has a statue outside of the stadium in Philly....

Foles and Dilpher aren't better than any of the quarterbacks mentioned on this page, including Dak.

I'm pretty sure Denver fans said the same thing about John Elway. He was in the NFL for about 14 years before he won his first Super Bowl. So, it's not how careers start that matter, its how they end. Dak isn't done yet.

I understand your point, and agree 100%. I just think using Elway was a very poor example of this. I don't think anyone with an IQ above 70 thought that an Elway led team wouldn't win a SB because of his play.

Yeah mean, don't go with half assed goals. Hold Jerry and the boys to the highest standards. They have done it, others have done it, they can do it again. 12-5 seasons are worthless without the proper post season show.
How?

Please stop complaining. We can't have the best player at every position. But we can have a top 10 at any given position which is how you build a team.

People love Josh Allen. 4 years nothing to show for it. Last season stats for all the threads that say Dak will never be on Josh Allen's level

Allen 4400 yards 36 tds 15 int. Did go to afc title game and had #1 defense in the league

Dak. 4400 yards 37 tds 10 int. Played as well as he could coming off career threatening injury. First round loss with 19th ranked D. Give Allen 19th ranked D and Dak #1 RANKED D and see how far we go

But for some reason Dak is putting up better numbers than 80% of the QBs in the league but he sucks. All the other QBs that don't win get a pass but not one Dak.

All and all we still have a top 10 QB, RB, TE, OG, DE, LB, CB. Wildcard = Lamb

We need to start the season off on the right foot and play TEAM BALL and if we start to suck then we can talk about Dak, Jerry, Stephen, Zeke and anyone else
You complain about all the complaining?

Keep that laugh going at the Bucs, Bengals, Rams, Packers & Eagles clean our clocks.
Why do you continue to root for this team if you feel so down about them? Get a dog. Write poetry. Learn a musical instrument. Why have something so negative in your life?

Elway was clutch in a lot of those playoff games. But that show me mindset would have still infiltrated some of the Broncos fan base. People are just that stupid.

It's because the Season of complaining around here never ends.

Come on now, you should know that by now; not a secret or hidden agenda.

Oh please, CC. How can it not? Constant complaining all day long and every single day. Is one to believe those constant complainers are calm and cool in their daily lives? I seriously doubt it.

If I cared enough to make a list of who I think are the top five complainers on this forum, I am confident you would make the list. As would Rocky. The subject of the complaints is irrelevant. The constant whining and complaining, and the tone it brings to the forum, is the same regardless of what is being complained about. There is also an element of hypocrisy brought to the table by the white hat posse.

I have found that the people in my life who are prone to getting upset by, and complaining about other people for things such as this are often the people I find myself not wanting to be around. This judgmental attitude usually carries over to other aspects of the relationship. Their complaints are based purely on an emotional reaction. People who are guided by emotion, are subject to the whims of that emotion. Far to often they can't tame that emotion and stay calm/cool when the situation really needs that to happen.

That's because they are sheeple. They believe the hype that sports media is pushing. Sports media is offense centric. They are always glorifying offenses. Then they push the narrative that the rules have changed to help the offense. Like DB's couldn't get called for holding or illegal contact back in the early 90s.

With all the glorification of offenses and the quarterback position in particular, sheeple tend to think that a QB can elevate the play of those around him. They believe that because sports media says so. But the truth is... how can a quarterback elevate the defense? See sheeple tend to forget, that as soon as Russell Wilson lost that great defense he couldn't carry his team to Super Bowls anymore. Sheeple tend to forget, that every time the Cowboys won a Super Bowl in the 90s they had a top 10 defense. Sheeple tend to forget, that Tom Brady had one of the best defenses in the NFL year in year out. So the question still remains, what can a quarterback do to elevate his defense?

These sheeple look at the weapons Romo once had. They look at the weapons Dak has had. But they forget about the defenses that these guys played with. With sports media so focused on the offense, these guys just fall in line with sports media. And that's why I call them sheeple.

Did Dan Marino have a great defense all of those years? Did Warren Moon have a great defense all of those years? Has Aaron Rodgers had a great defense every year? Did Drew Brees have a great defense all of those years? But these guys want Dak to do something that Hall of famers have struggled to do... Win it all without a great defense.

SHEEPLE

Bull!

Crooked officials helped out Brady and the Bucs last year. They did the same for Rodgers and the Packers both playoff years against the Cowboys in 2014 & 2016. Many other times the crooked officials have been in the tank for the opposing team.
This is a great example to back up my point about being run by emotion and how it often leads to the injection of negativity in a much less than "calm, cool" fashion.

What a pathetic response. So wrong as well. The constant complaints against Dak, this team and Jerry outnumber the few of us who on rare occasions call y'all out by a number of 20x to 1. It's not even factually correct or anywhere close to what you said. Typical deceitful reply. Blame the complainer of the whiners for things you actually do.
