Once I get into dentistry I would love to be a season ticket holder. I secretly use it as a rewarded goal to not go crazy in the process but I have not a clue on how any of it works such as cost per year and everything. I won’t be a “head to vegas” type Doctor and it would be something I could do with a wife and kid(s) and/or friends.

I am not trying to derail this thread by any means
Much luck to you on your future profession.

So you’re jealous then

Jealous of what? I wouldn’t buy Cowboys tickets with your money, let alone mine. If I’m jealous of anything, it’s other teams being run correctly with a front office that wants to win and a coaching staff that knows how to get it done.

Did they increase the seat prices? I read last year where some or all were raised.
When I had mine they were $340 each, club level 300. Just curious if they went up.

I sold the seating license in Spring of 2016.

I am in 222. Very good seats. A bargain for the price. I think they went up slightly last year. About $100 each for the year maybe?

In a nutshell, you "buy" a Personal Seat License (PSL) per seat which gives you the right to then annually purchase season tickets for the associated seat. E.g., if you want 2 seats in Section 217, you have to pay 2 PSLs. The cost of the PSL varies by section location, but there are 2 classes of PSL's - Club and non-Club. The Club are goal-line to goal-line, are the most expensive, but carry with it some benefits not available to non-Club seats. You also can pay cash for the PSL, which I chose to do, or finance it. If I remember right, when the stadium opened the PSL was a 30-year term, not sure if purchased today from the Cowboys if it would still be 30 years or 21 years. If you acquire an individual's PSL, which can be done, it would be whatever term is remaining on their PSL. One other thing to think about is the PSL REQUIRES you to buy every Cowboys ticket offered - i.e., you cannot just decide not to pay for the Season Tickets one year - you forfeit your PSL in that case. Same with Playoff tickets - you don't buy and pay for a playoff ticket and you forfeit your Seat License.

Hope that helps. I know I didn't include anything about costs, but that's available on the Cowboys website You can also see what individual's are listing their PSLs for.

I think playoff tickets are actually optional, of course I would never pass on playoff tickets.

Thank you! When the time comes around I will be more interested in pricing and all that but I do have a better idea now with the concept of season ticket ownership. I could end up practicing dentistry in Dallas for all I know. Just taking it one process at a time!

Have any of you received season ticket invoices? I have received my seat option and paid it already but I haven't seen a season ticket invoice yet. Have they been sent out?

I live 1,300 miles away from the stadium, so it's not a practical option. :(

Thank you I def appreciate it! It is such a weird experience I started at community college got to charter college co-built a organization for undergraduates who are interested in Dentistry to become “competitive” in the application process then became president of the organization for a couple of years got a job harvesting corneas from donors which meant I would work nights and wouldn’t sleep sometimes for a few days due to class and work schedule also got a one on one interview with dental school in New Orleans and nearly wanted to give up from exhaustion at the end of it. First one in my family that went to college. That is a broad explanation of it all lol. You can put yourself in a whole mentally but you can also climb out and learn so much more from it.

You should have stopped there if you wanted to show class and decorum because that’s the only thing you typed that means anything. I say you’re nuts to give hard earned money to the Cowboys as they are currently being run and then you say I have no class. What’s the difference?

I was out of line saying "On second thought, I guess you do show class, albeit 3rd class." That was without class and decorum.

The issue with your original post is you made a personal statement about someone else. There is a difference between saying "I would not give my hard-earned money to the Cowboys for the crap this team is putting out" and "Anyone sending in money for the crap this team is putting out is nuts." The former is a personal choice statement, the later a negative comment directed to someone else about their choice. Personally, I would not have taken the former as an affront. Maybe you didn't mean it that way, but the syntax and context matters, much as the same spoken words can be taken differently depending on the tonal emphasis and inflection.

Maybe, but I'm pretty sure I remember reading that in the first paragraph on the 2nd page I believe. It wasn't an issue for me because I would always buy them, but I had to think what would happen if I passed. I guess I need to dig out my Agreement and see.

You may be right. I am not definite on that.

I had 1st row seats in section 313. 20 yard line. Really great seats. I do not regret selling them. As circumstances in my life changed. And I felt it was best to sell them. Now I will just buy tickets from someone if I decide to go to a game.

They started at $4000 per seat I think except for some more undesirable seats. The seat licenses for the 50 yard line seats were. like $120,000 each or something like that for the best seats. Keep in mind they are 30 year seat licenses
