Season Ticket Invoices

In a nutshell, you "buy" a Personal Seat License (PSL) per seat which gives you the right to then annually purchase season tickets for the associated seat. E.g., if you want 2 seats in Section 217, you have to pay 2 PSLs. The cost of the PSL varies by section location, but there are 2 classes of PSL's - Club and non-Club. The Club are goal-line to goal-line, are the most expensive, but carry with it some benefits not available to non-Club seats. You also can pay cash for the PSL, which I chose to do, or finance it. If I remember right, when the stadium opened the PSL was a 30-year term, not sure if purchased today from the Cowboys if it would still be 30 years or 21 years. If you acquire an individual's PSL, which can be done, it would be whatever term is remaining on their PSL. One other thing to think about is the PSL REQUIRES you to buy every Cowboys ticket offered - i.e., you cannot just decide not to pay for the Season Tickets one year - you forfeit your PSL in that case. Same with Playoff tickets - you don't buy and pay for a playoff ticket and you forfeit your Seat License.

Hope that helps. I know I didn't include anything about costs, but that's available on the Cowboys website You can also see what individual's are listing their PSLs for.

Playoff tickets are optional.
You can pay for the tickets and any unused tickets, the money can be applied to your next years tickets or you can get a refund.
Or they have a “pay as they play” options, meaning if there is a playoff game, once scheduled you are charged that price.

Or you can choose not to buy the tickets and they go on sell to the public after a certain time. But you have until around mid December if I remember correctly to decide on that or else you lose the right to buy them.

I had 1st row seats in section 313. 20 yard line. Really great seats. I do not regret selling them. As circumstances in my life changed. And I felt it was best to sell them. Now I will just buy tickets from someone if I decide to go to a game.
I've considered selling mine, but not because circumstances have changed, more just my frustration with the team.

They started at $4000 per seat I think except for some more undesirable seats. The seat licenses for the 50 yard line seats were. like $120,000 each or something like that for the best seats. Keep in mind they are 30 year seat licenses

And you could finance them and pay over that 30 years time span.

Between the 40 yard limes I believe they were $120k and between the 20 and 40 they’re $32 I think and the rest were $16k each.
This was in the club mezzanine 300 sections.
Mine were $32k for 2 seats, had them from 2009 through 2015 season. Sold them for $26k just to get out of them. As I said my circumstances changed and traveling for work and trying to sell the tickets just to break even was a pain. LOL
Now since I am retired I still do not regret it.

That was part of my reasoning too, kind. Of the icing on the cake to make that decision.

I didn't get my invoice yet either. I only go to like 1 or 2 games a year when the team sucks and sell the rest. I make GOOD money off of them every year too.
Do you realize you and fans like you are one of the reasons we have no home field advantage. Personally, I wouldn’t brag about selling my season tickets. As a Dallas fan, in another state, it is embarrassing to watch the home games on direct TV and see a third of the stadium filled with the other teams fans. If I did sell my seat I would make sure it was to a Dallas fan.

If they hold certain events such as concerts or NCAA games are you granted access to attend the event in your seats say if it’s club level?

I’ve thought about selling mine. Has anyone here sold their PSLs since the stadium opened? I read that the average Cowboys fan takes a loss on their PSL.

Maybe you should put your money where your mouth is and start traveling to games every week.

Your input is not needed for a crap post like that.
I bet you spend money others deem wasteful.

There is wasteful and then there is garbage wasteful and then there is buying a ticket to fill Jerrys pockets

Thank you! When the time comes around I will be more interested in pricing and all that but I do have a better idea now with the concept of season ticket ownership. I could end up practicing dentistry in Dallas for all I know. Just taking it one process at a time!

Good luck, both in your professional endeavor and with any future season tickets. I've had tickets since 1989 and have never regretted it, even during the dark Campo years (well, maybe in 1989). My dad took us kids to the Cotton Bowl in the 60's and I've been blessed to be able to return the joy by taking him to games over the last 29 years. He's 95 now and last year was the first year he hasn't gone to a game with me.

You guys suck :). You know how lucky you are if you're close? Never been to a Cowboy game. May never. The dream never dies, just the dreamer

Never say never. The guy next to me sold his 2016 GB playoff tickets and the guy who bought them was from London, England. He was a native Londoner and was a HUGE Cowboys fan. His lifelong dream was to go to a game. His wife gave that to him for Christmas - airfare, hotel, tickets. The dude was ecstatic and we Facetimed her when the Cowboys tied it.

Good info on having to buy the playoff tickets. Obviously, my memory ain't what it used to be. Thanks.

You've a very good outlook.
It comes with elevated blood pressure about twice a week.

That is awesome! In 95 years I bet your father has some stories :D. I remember paying more attention during the Campo era I wasn’t a big fan of his. I was fortunate enough to see Texas Stadium (I went to the Eagles game where they showed Jessica Simpson on Tv flashing the Romo jersey) but I have not had the opportunity to experience attending the AT&T stadium just yet even though I have passed by it a bunch of times it just hasn’t been in my deck of cards as of right now. I can’t see myself being selfish with having the privilege to be in a position one day to be a season ticket holder. I wanna be in that position to allow others to experience around me (Most family and friends are cowboy fans) attending games and getting away from the daily routine for the weekend....Going to training camps will be selfish for me though that will be my time.

Are you allowed to attend training camps at the star btw? lol

I am in 222. Very good seats. A bargain for the price. I think they went up slightly last year. About $100 each for the year maybe?

I'm in 217. The tickets were $99 when the stadium opened, but were up to $120 last year. The only thing that ever irked me was having to pay the same for the stupid preseason games as the regular season games. But I finally got over that by rationalizing that if they charged less for the preseason, the difference would just get prorated over the regular season games and I'd be paying the same at the end of the day. To each his own, but in my opinion, the season tickets are really a very good value vs. competing sports.

I'm not sure about the Star - I haven't been out there yet. My bud that has the seats next to me says it's a great place to take your kids (or grandkids in my case).

Texas Stadium was iconic, but was nowhere near as comfortable as this stadium.
