No wonder Jerrys doesnt care about winning if he can rip a fortune out of People for freaking seats to a Football Game wow.

I live in Germany and have Season Tickets to the BBL which is the highest Basketball League in Germany. I have midcourt Season Tickets which is the most expensive category.

They cost 399$ for 17 Games.

I also have Season Tickets for the Local Football Team which Plays in the GFL, the highest German Football League. Premium Season Tickets cost 150 $ a Season.

I get its no NBA or NFL but also a very high Level of entertaining sports but you could buy a House over here for the Price of a Seating Licence in Jerry World lol.

I wonder if any normal working People can afford a Ticket in Jerryworld. Doesnt seem like it.

The really funny thing is that these same fans will whine and complain about how the team is being run while not be willing to do the one thing that would change it

Yes I sold mine.
There are several web sites you can go through and list them.

https://cowboys.strmarketplace.com
this was the one I used. All went very smooth, they handle everything.

http://www.pslsource.com/buy_dallas_cowboys_psl/
there was a 3rd, but I don't have it bookmarked

Yes I took a loss from what I initially paid, but then again I got 7 years use of them. If they would have won some SB's, I may have made money..
You list your price and once you get an offer, you can negotiate with that person on a final price. Accept their offer or counter offer, or just not sell at all.

It was all done in a few weeks. You also can either sell all your tickets at that time to the buyer or negotiate which ones they want to buy, if any.
One mine I had already sold the Commanders game but they wanted to buy the rest at face value. Including the preseason games.

They charge a fee, based on where your seats are, I think 10%. My fee was 5% because they were the high $$$ club seats..
They charge this to both the buyer and the seller I believe.

This one is ran by the Cowboys I think.
Thanks. Articles such as this (it’s a few years old but we have won 1 playoff game since it was written) suggest Cowboy (and other) fans haven’t been doing too well with it. Personally I feel like PSLs are one of the worst things to be introduced into sports in some time.

Yes, it is kind. of like a "suckers" bet if one thinks they will make money from the resell. I never for once thought I would.
I had a friend that went in half with me, but after 3 years he had to back out for financial reasons. At the time I could take them over from him and have both seats.

But we went into it wanting to go to the games, and not sell the tickets. I eventually had to travel again for work, therefore selling the tickets, if I could just to break even. It got tiring and was a burden. I got out when I could for what I still owed on the PSL's. But still lost from the initial price. But I did not look at it that way.

I sold the tickets and still was able to go to Ione game a year, for basically free on the profits I made from other ticket sales.

We went to every game the last 2 years at Texas Stadium, and the 1st 3 years at the new stadium. Then I got to one game a year after that. Was out of town most of the time. Now since I am back in town full time, I still do not regret selling them at all.
For the $6K loss I took from the initial price I got my use out of them, had a great time. I made Monet from selling them when I did not go, maybe not $6k worth but enough to offset some of the loss. I have spreadsheet on it, I would need to look up and see what it was. Maybe ended up losing $2K to $4K range over all that time.
I lost more in the stock market, but had more gains also. so I kind of look at it that way.

At least as I told friend, as they used to say, why do you pay all that for each year lining Jerry's pockets. I told them that is what I like and why do they spend more money than I do on golf and cigarettes each year. That shuts them up. LOL.
At least I don't pay that out now, but they still do. LOL.

Your input is not needed for a crap post like that.
I bet you spend money others deem wasteful.
Guys like him make the long offseason seem much longer. All of these idiots freaking out because we haven't signed a free agent is tiresome. Bottom line is if Zeke doesn't get suspended last year we would have made the playoffs. People are acting like this team needs a complete overhaul when that is really not the case.

Do you realize you and fans like you are one of the reasons we have no home field advantage. Personally, I wouldn’t brag about selling my season tickets. As a Dallas fan, in another state, it is embarrassing to watch the home games on direct TV and see a third of the stadium filled with the other teams fans. If I did sell my seat I would make sure it was to a Dallas fan.

I don't know that I would say there is no home field advantage. For sure, there have been some games at which the opposing team's fans were very present and very vocal, but those games are the vast minority. The one constant is Pittsburgh, their fans travel very well. Green Bay is another, although that was not the case in the 2016 Playoff game - there were actually surprisingly few. One that did surprise me recently was the opening SF game a few years ago - was blown away with the number of 49 fans there.

One of the issues with the stadium is it's so expansive that the same level of noise there is much quieter than at Texas Stadium. They put up the dB meter on the big screen and it never seems as loud as what it shows. It may be, but he Monday night opening game in 92 against the Commanders (the year after they won the SB) was the loudest I've ever heard. The place was a rockin and no need to be knockin. The next closest was the final game at Texas Stadium against Baltimore, unfortunately the results weren't the same.

Don't slam folks for selling their tickets. I usually have to sell 1-2 games a year, not for apathy, but because I physically can't go. I almost always sell my Thanksgiving tickets because I'm out of town for the holiday. And since 2014, I've sold the opening game twice because I've an annual overseas trip that pushed into the opening weekend. I used to sell on Craig's List and Ebay and other such marketplaces and, when I did, I somewhat tongue in cheek asked if they were a Cowboys fan before consummating the deal. The vast majority were Cowboys fans. I sell now on the NFL Ticket Exchange so no opportunity to ask about the buyer’s fandom.

Anyone sending in money for the crap this team is putting out is nuts. That’s all.
Can't agree with that, it's all about value and that's a personal decision.
Once I get into dentistry I would love to be a season ticket holder. I secretly use it as a rewarded goal to not go crazy in the process but I have not a clue on how any of it works such as cost per year and everything. I won’t be a “head to vegas” type Doctor and it would be something I could do with a wife and kid(s) and/or friends.

I am not trying to derail this thread by any means
I am not coming to you for my check ups if you're going to squander the money on the damned Cowboys. Now, if you'll agree to use what I pay you on whiskey and strippers, I'll consider it. Be nice if you had a stripper dental hygienist so I can smile real big and make her job easier.

All about value, which is different for moist of us. I wouldn't pay to see them if they'd won the last 3 SB's because that's not a fun time to me. But to others, going to a game, win or lose, is a kick in the pants and for some a family outing.

I have some friends that had seats next to ours when I had season tickets in the late 80's, not the best time to have them, and they used their family vacation money for season tickets and now they take their grand kids to games, a very memorable time for youngsters, win or lose.

It is a tad presumptuous to assume value for someone else based on your own. I have friends that think I am nuts for spending money on top shelf whiskey and high end cigars but I look at that as an investment in happiness. Put me on the patio with some fine tunes, a fine hand made libation, a hand rolled on the thighs of virgins cigar and I've got a smile a mortician couldn't erase. To someone else, that would be punishment.

LMAO! I will have to hit up Baby Dolls next time I party in Texas and get some future candidates lined up but since you didn’t specify which brand....

Do you realize that fans like you have no idea what the hell they are talking about? I sell my tickets to other Cowboys fans. Did you think about that before you made a dumb comment towards me? One of the reasons we have no home field advantage is because Jerry is ruining the team. There isn't much for the fans to be excited about when for 22 years we have been nothing more than average to below average. We have no GM, we have a puppet coach, and the team is stuck in mediocrity. I have been to plenty of the games here and every game you go to you see tons of Cowboys fans just sitting around not even cheering for most of the games. Jerry has built a crappy culture and that is why there is no home field advantage.

Also, just so you know, the stadium is typically filled with a vast majority of Cowboys fans at every single game. Have you actually been to a game here?

I sold my season tickets. it no longer made sense to support them that much. they aren't willing to do everything it takes to provide a high quality product.

While I have not been happy with the results the Cowboys have had over the past 20 years, there is no other option for me as a lifelong fan.

I love attending games with my family and have never considered getting rid of my PSLs. Truth be told, attending a Cowboys game for me requires a lot more than just jumping in the car and driving to the stadium and I don't regret any moment or dollar spent.

What I find ridiculous is how anyone who hates the team so much can hang around a fan site and criticize season ticket holders for attending games .

To each his own .

I live almost 4 hours from the stadium in Arlington and I drive down for every game that I don't have some sort of conflict in real life which gets in the way of me going.

Thanksgiving is for family so I seldom go to those. Christmas or Christmas Eve also gets in the way sometimes. Other than that I try to go to all of them.

I am passionate about the Cowboys. I'm not just an internet fan. Life is about decisions. I am as disappointed as anyone in the last 20 plus years but it hasn't changed my interest in the team.
