Seattle Lost

They're more than capable of beating us again in two weeks in their stadium. Not saying they will but they're a good team and Eli is a good QB who's had a lot of success against us.
The are reasons to be concerned. Every time I count Eli out he has one of those games against the Cowboys where everything seems to fall in place.

We are not playing the 2011 or the 2007 Giants. Why do you keep posting what Eli did 5 and 9 years ago? Do you want me to post what the Cowboys did in the 90s?

I'm trying to point out you can't just blow them off as an easy win. They've had a lot of success against us over the years and it's been pretty consistent success. They handed us our only loss this season because they have good team and Eli is a good QB. If you can't see that, that's your problem.

Or decide to start Alfred Morris at RB for a change of pace.
The equivalency would be Zeke getting hurt, the injury making him worse than Morris has been this year so far; and Williams doing his best to sabotage the team.

You can never count out Eli and the Giants, especially considering they handed us our only loss this season and next to us are the hottest team in the league.

Wrong, we'd have to continue to win games. These games aren't gimmes, folks.

Didn't say anything about games being a gimmes. I stated that if the Giants lose to the Steelers and we lose to the Giants, we will still be in first place. If the Steelers beat them it will make their chances of winning the division a lot harder.

The 2011 Giants were 9-7 and Eli had 16 picks and 8 fumbles, losing 4 of them. Neither the Giants or Eli were that good that season and we could have virtually eliminated them in the first game had we not blown a 12 point lead with 8 minutes to play at home. Eli was efficient like he was against us in the playoffs in 07. He only passed for 163 yards in the playoffs.

They only scored 21 points that day but they played Giants football by keeping the game close and beating us in the end. They're more than capable of beating us again in two weeks in their stadium. Not saying they will but they're a good team and Eli is a good QB who's had a lot of success against us.

I'm going to judge the Giants after the Steelers game. They played like crap against Chicago and the Browns. If they played like that against us we will beat them.

People forget that Dak and Zeke's worst game was against the Giants. We almost beat them. I doubt that Dak and Zeke will play like they did that first game.

It may not be a easy game for us but it's going to be harder on them this time around.
They handed us a loss because Zeke was just getting started. I doubt Zeke will have another 50 yard game against them. Even with all that, they bare beat us.

The fact Dak and Zeke played their worst games of the season in the opener shows that we have to play damn near flawless offensively to win games. Dak didn't play a bad game in the opener but it was his weakest performance of the year and it wasn't good enough because Eli tossed 3 TD's. Seasons are marathons and it's the teams that are playing their best football in Dec/Jan that are going to end up in the SB. We found out in 2007 when we were 12-1 that you're not guaranteed anything once the playoffs arrive.

But you didn't say that, you said "we still win the division". The division will not be locked up, we lose to the Giants and we have some things to worry about going ahead since we have some tough opponents moving forward. Lions have shown they can win close games, Tampa's defense is no joke, and I'd rather that Eagles game not have to be meaningful at all because that will most likely be their Super Bowl.

I also didn't say that all games are gimmes. So your assuming that I did. However, our chances of winning the division will be greatly increased if the Steelers beat them.

It was hard the first time around for them, they only won by a point. We had every opportunity to win from Dez's dropped TD to Twill not getting out of bounds. We don't know how it will play out in two weeks but I'm expecting a very tough game that will come down to the 4th quarter. The Giants under Eli almost always play us tough.

It's not going to be easy but we win because we are the better team and as I mentioned previously, the scheduling is in our favor.

Then there is no reason to say "we win the division", because it's factually incorrect since the Giants aren't exactly eliminated from winning it and the games won't be a breeze. I think you can kinda see why I assumed you think this stretch run will be like the one we had since week 2. These final 5 games are probably be the toughest test we've had thus far.

We need to be the better team when it really matters, that's what will define this season. Championships aren't handed out after 13 weeks, you have to finish.
