Thats what I meant by getting rid of Whitehead. Bottom of the roster guy, if Butler is at the bottom of our WRs.....we have a good WR corp.

I looked at a house for sale recently. It was in great shape and priced 100K below market.

Unfortunately, one of the closets was painted a color that I didn't like so I didn't buy it.

I also didn't take a great deal on a sports car because it had a dead bug on the window.

Why would they release players after the draft? They off-season roster has 90 players. Training Camp is when players generally get released.

The Cowboys generally don't release many, if any players between the draft and training camp. They will cut guys that show up out of shape or that got into some (unknown to the public) trouble in the off-season, but otherwise it's unlikely.

Maybe a guy like Morris would request his own release if he thinks he'll be cut anyway.

Witten is not going anywhere this year. I have no idea why anybody would think that he wouldn't be on the team. He played basically 100% of the offensive snaps in most games last season. In addition to that, Jerry would not want to take more heat from fans for moving on from a likely HOF player and fan favorite after having to cut Romo.

Romo leaving has absolutely zero to do with Witten staying.

They could move up to grab Howard and Witten would still be on this roster.

TWill is close to my least favorite player... what they are paying him for 35 to 40 catches (and several IDIOTIC game decisions) is too much....they are NOT going to get rid of him, so that is nonsense, but get me Njoku with our first pick

TWill's salary is in line with his production. Very cap friendly and team friendly deal. Bottom line is he isn't overpaid at all.

Njoku with our first pick??? At 28? How does that help the defense and specifically the pass rush?

TWill was lucky he didn't get cut already and I still believe his saving grace so far was the minimal price tag he agreed to. I don't think he makes it through training camp.
