He’s washed up. It’s sad seeing him plod out on the field. He’s just stealing money at this point.

Some of you have no joy or loyalty in your lives. How can you not watch the end of this week’s ‘Sounds from the Sidelines‘ and not get sentimental about a back that was all heart. Especially when him and Zack hugged it out. Two road warriors that grinded it out together for a long time. Not saying he has to re-sign with the team but sheesh, some of the comments here make me wonder.

It doesn’t really bother me. It doesn’t bother me with any player really. Unless they’re a player who is still good and the cowboys are missing out on their performance.

Zeke was fun to watch when he was at his peak in Dallas. But he is done now. He can’t play at a high level anymore. It’s just how the NFL goes. I’m glad he is gone because paying him and giving him the ball so many times was hurting the team.

Just saw the sounds from the sidelines yt video. Seeing him in another uniform sux, I didn't like it almost as much as I didn't like seeing Emmitt and Allen in different uniforms. Elliot like Emmitt left it all on the field for this team. Too bad Elliot didn't have Emmitt work ethic in the offseason. If only he had put in the extra work, he'd probably still be a cowboy.
Lol after his suspension he stole cash - fat outta shape slow and never seemed vested.

The worst move we ever made was paying him twice.

Yep I miss seeing his handsome visage on our sideline.

Truth be told though he looks much better in a patriot uniform.

Player preference for me. Emmitt and Allen fall 2 and 3 for me all time favorites. Only one above them is hershal, he's the reason I'm a cowboy fan. 4th for me is elliot.
Larry Allen?? I don't believe he plays for another team but had a long time ago so maybe I don't remember I thought that's what we were talking about here....

All heart? Not the way I remember him. Grinding it out for a long time? Also not hw I remember him. I remember him as a god tier level talent who got suspended for stupid selfish behavior, held out early for maximum money, almost immediately fell of a cliff physically, hung on far too long despite terrible effectiveness. Never played in an NFC championship game.

Young man with woman problems. That‘a not selfish. He never had the same issues after the suspension which IMO was BS compared to what others received. Lesson learned.

LOL suspended for violence towards women on three separate occasions is the very definition of selfish. He had a team that counted on his. He was viewed as a leader and a key contributor. He felt that it was more important to maintain his violent behavior towards women.

Add to that a guy who went from god like to fat and slow almost overnight after signing his retirement package and you have what I would consider to be one of the most selfish Cowboy players ever.

I’ve never forgiven him for the holdout and underperformance after the big contract. I could hardly care less what he does.

Zeke played great for this Franchise, nothing wrong with saying that, the franchise moved on at the right time..nothing wrong with that either...no need to pour toilet water on what Zeke did here while a Cowboy....If Zeke was anything other than an RB playing at that level he is probably still here and an corner stone player on the team..thats just a fact.

A real Dallas Cowboys fan misses his red zone TDs and pass blocking. The Jonesboys have a red zone problem and the problem solver was in a Patriots uniform. They need to use the FB more.

I’m not here to moralize about personal situations I was not involved in and have no first-hand knowledge. Just here to watch my team and the players. And it’s hard not to root for a running back who takes that pounding for years and always looks like he’s having fun. You want to turn it into something else, you have that right, but I’m just here about the sport.
