Seeing Elliot on another team sucks

No one even said anything about an elite player though. I’ve never seen a elite season season distinguishes from a special season honestly.
2011 season had 3 QBs throw for over 5,000 yards, and 3 who threw for more than 40 TDs. 4 of those QBs had elite seasons, not all of them had special seasons. The special season was Aaron Rodgers who threw 45 TDs to 6 INTs with a rating of 122.5.

That is the best recent comparison to give.

Speak for yourself. Its a dream come true for some of us. A dream some 4 or 5 years in the making.

Watching him stumble into the center of the line for 2 or 3 yardrs and holding back someone elses offense is icing on the cake.

And yes too bad Zeke didnt have Emmitts heart and work ethic. Or his skills as a RB.

Zeke and Emmitt were both durable and they had great Olines early in their career. The similarities end there.
I think he was.

Just saw the sounds from the sidelines yt video. Seeing him in another uniform sux, I didn't like it almost as much as I didn't like seeing Emmitt and Allen in different uniforms. Elliot like Emmitt left it all on the field for this team. Too bad Elliot didn't have Emmitt work ethic in the offseason. If only he had put in the extra work, he'd probably still be a cowboy.
I didn’t like it either.
He still has a lot left in the tank. But unfortunately teams don’t play his style anymore nor are they built for his style now.
Well the Titans are that’s the only reason Henry is still there but he is used up

Some of these posts are as bad as watching a documentary of the Serengeti where the young are eaten by their very own. Just brutal.

This is zilch compared to seeing Tony Dorsett with Denver. He was still good. He had a nice year with them until he was hurt. He and Elway u could tell, were a nice fit. Sammy Winder, TD was pretty decent together. I hated it bad. Then TD blew his knee out and his career was over. Sad as hell. The difference is, TD won a ring and helped take us 2 several championship games. He was everything Zeke isn't. TD was all about team and all about winning. Not 1 selfish bone in his body. Zeke is a team guy but I didnt see the fire, the desire 2 be great. I saw a great player that had 1 great year then for whatever reason, tailed off. His legs are gone. Still an elite pass blocker. Thats the 1 thing TD never did great. Seeing Emmitt with the cards was very tuff. I must say. I hated it. A true gritty champion, heart of a lion. Team guy. Leader. Zeke wasn't a leader. He was a lead by example guy. A hammer. I wish we could have at least gotten him to a SB with Dak.

Been in happening in the NFL (and the other three major North American professional sports) for over a century now.
Mays a Met.
Barkley a Sun.
Dorsett a Bronco.
Stabler a Saint.
Montana a Chief.
Dickerson a Raider and a Falcon.

Most RBs don't come into the league with the bonified best offensive line of the decade with 3 all-pros, two of which are future HOFers.
So what? Nobody discredits Mahomes coming into the league with Kelce and Tyreke. Nobody discredits anyone unless they have a star on their helmet. I’ve seen running backs with stud linemen and not do what Zeke did.

What like it didn't hurt watching DeMarcus Ware win a title in Denver instead of here? Although I don't know did we play him head to head I don't think we did but still it happens I mean people leave teams eventually maybe they get Super Bowls elsewhere Can you imagine Peyton Manning fans from the Colts when he went to Denver and won another title or Tom Brady fans with Tampa Bay?
Player preference for me. Emmitt and Allen fall 2 and 3 for me all time favorites. Only one above them is hershal, he's the reason I'm a cowboy fan. 4th for me is elliot.

I know, the post is how it made me feel. And I didn't like it. Just like how for you it didn't bother you. I'm at the opposite end of that.

What? Get a haircut? Shave the beard? You think Bellichick told him to do that?

He did this while as a free agent lol. Y'all say anything.

Somebody told him to maybe his agent. That game was the first time I've ever seen him since he was let go.

He’s had it since the offseason..he said it was a fresh start. Number change and haircut. A agent could’ve told him to possibly.

Because there is a major drop off after Dorsett and Smith. That says absolutely nothing. This is like saying Mark Sanchez is the second best QB in New York Jets history

....wow what a feat.
Okay...so if mark IS...then it's HIS fault? He deserves his place in the books.

And you lecture ME about "means nothing"...while you compare Zeke to Sanchez.

PURE hater. God you must have HATED those NFL rushing championship years.

Elliot had better stats I think than Emmitt in their first 3 yrs.
They actually have similar stats in many regards.

One stat NFL doesn't track is "likeable". And "hurt feelings".
"But Zeke needed a good O-line"? What kind of o-line did Emmitt have? Plus the HoFer Troy at QB.

Hate makes one insane.

Neither do rookie QB's. That also get a soon-to-be NFL rushing champion he can just hand off to. We don't bash HIM for it.

Emmitt needed a good line too. We don't bash HIM for it.

I can answer that easily!!! HELL NO he doesn't like any Cowboys players. The kid is a troll from another NFCE team.
I been giving him the benefit of doubt....but he finally tripped up. REFUSED to answer if he liked any cowboys (except our backup QBs)

Elite means you're in the company of those who played at the highest level. In this case, it would mean the player you are referring was alongside other high level players that season.

Special would have to mean it is unique or unusual in some aspect. It was not. There are MANY rookie RBs that averaged similar to what Elliott did his rookie season. There was nothing about his season that was special. Let's use the very player you brought up randomly in the discussion

Saquan Barkley rushed for 1,307 yards on 261 attempts and 5.0ypc. If he had a similar amount of carries to what Zeke got, he would have similar results to Zeke. If anything, Barkley has more in his favor since he had 700 yards receiving. But let's go further into this.

Barry Sanders - 280 carries, 1, 470 yards
Mike Anderson - 297 carries, 1,487 yards
Adrian Peterson - 238 carries, 1,341 yards
Clinton Portis - 273 carries 1,508 yards
Jerome Bettis - 294 carries, 1,429 yards

Adrian Peterson's rookie season there is closer to being special, but he missed two games. He was averaging 5.6 yards on the ground and had 12 TDs on 238 carries. For the amount of carries that Zeke got and the line that he was behind, what he accomplished in 2016 is not special. It was a great season and he was among the elites, but not special. There is an RB every other season that averages around the same to what we see Zeke did as a rookie. Hell I'm not even sure why "rookie" even matters? We aren't talking QBs here. RBs adjust to the NFL easier than most other positions.
That there in big red? PURE SPECULATION! His track record would easily show he'd more likely get injured instead.

We should TRY to stick to the facts here.
