Just saw the sounds from the sidelines yt video. Seeing him in another uniform sux, I didn't like it almost as much as I didn't like seeing Emmitt and Allen in different uniforms. Elliot like Emmitt left it all on the field for this team. Too bad Elliot didn't have Emmitt work ethic in the offseason. If only he had put in the extra work, he'd probably still be a cowboy.
I didn't like seeing Emmitt in another uniform. But let's be real. I was one of the few fans who wanted him gone at the time. Emmitt staying so long held the team back. It was a tough decision to let him go. The sentimental value from fans and the FO really hurt this team, and not just in the short-term either. It really set us down the road of mediocrity for quite a long while.
Elliott hasn't declined nearly as much as Emmitt. And Elliott wasn't nearly as much of a me guy as Emmitt was, so I realy hated seeing him in a Patriots uni, too. Mostly because he's so easy to like.
That said, if I had one team to pick for him to go to, it would be the Patriots because of Hoodie. It's good to see Belichick still saw something in Zeke.
Emmitt was a punk. The only reason he got so much slack was because he was on a winning team, a team with possibly the best offensive line ever assembled in the NFL. Larry Allen, Williams, Newton, Step, Tueni, etceera.
Give me one team that ever assembled an offensive line that good, and I'll call you a liar.
I don't see how anyone can call Zeke a punk. He's a nice guy, a good teammate, and was always there to the best of his ability, even if that ability declined to a degree.
