Yes. Dak is proof that the Cowboys were able to draft a competent NFL starting QB. Now if you're referring to past drafts, my answer would be incomplete, just because the Cowboys have never used a premium pick on a QB since Aikman was taken #1 overall back in 89. And although both Bill Musgrave (4th rd. 91) and Stephen McGee in (4th rd. 09) were busts, I do not consider the coaching and scouting staffs back then incompetent considering both Musgrave and McGee were 4th round picks. Overall there really isn't enough of a sample size to evaluate the Cowboys organization abilty to draft QBs ijust because they haven't really drafted a lot of QBs and have not used a premium draft on a QB since Aikman.
