I'm just gauging the production they had last year. That was my point. The production they had in comparison to the rest of the league. If a guy got hurt then I can't say he performed better than a guy who played 15 games.

Goalposts are continually being moved by you.
You've now downgraded to both players from another team had to
1. Stay healthy all 16 games
2. Their #1 outproduce Lockett
3. Their #2 outproduce Metcalf
That's silly lol.

We'll just end it here, since I've made my point quite obviously.

So you are telling me Adam Thielen last year had a better year than DJ Metcalf because he averaged more yards than he did per game? Is that what you're saying?

Diggs and Thielen didn't out perform Lockette and Metcalf. I know that for sure because Thielen got hurt last year....so I'm not gonna entertain them. Replace them with someone else...I agree with the other 4 though.
Replace Minn with Woods and Kupp if you must

I'm telling you that Thielan was a better player than Metcalf last season.

If we are talking duos, then I am basing that off of a player's level of play not just their stats.

For the record I am taking Tyreke Hill over Metcalf and 35 year old Emmanual Sanders despite him having less yards last season lol.

1957 receiving yards and 90 points off 15 touchdowns

2295 receiving yards and 72 points off of 12 touchdowns

I'll concede that maybe they aren't top 5 because do think Woods and Kupp are better. You are arguing with them being top 5 but they are producing like a top 5 duo lol......They had more touchdowns than a duo you and I both consider to be better than them. So what that makes them top 6 or 7? Still were productive.

You'd take Emmanul Sanders over Metcalf? And Tyreke Hill is a great player but I can't say he was more productive than Metcalf. There is nothing to suggest this other than your opinion.

I disagree. I think these guys eventually get in the game. Dak was never going to sit. They were grooming him to back up Romo. They didn't intend for him to get in the game as fast he did however.
Dak was 3rd string ! If kellan & romo dont get hurt no telling where he winds up.

That's what he was at the start of camp. By preseason he showed he was far better than Showers and Kellan. Kellan even being that high on the depth chart was because of Linehan's love for him. Dak was being groomed slowly to be the Cowboys backup to Romo.

Nothing is going to change the mind of an idiot who thinks Dak sucks and that the Cowboys would be better off with a cast off at QB. If Dak wins the Super Bowl the Dak haters will say that Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Mark Rypien and Jeff Hostetler won Super Bowl’s were they any good? If Dak wins the trifecta, a league MVP, Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP the Dak haters will lay low and will be back bashing him again the following year every time we lose a game or if we don’t get back to the Super Bowl because you can’t fix stupid.

No doubt.. but never underestimate the extent to which some people actually just love to argue. For some folks it's just fun.

And likely his successor.

Not likely.. definitely. The only thing the injuries did was accelerate the timeline but I firmly believe the staff wanted Dak to become the eventual starter once Romo hung 'em up or just started to play so bad they had to show him the door.

Many here love to argue just for the sake of arguing but I can’t understand how anyone could have fun bashing the teams QB and pulling against them hoping they’ll be pulled for a cast off.

I'm not sure, because Dak wasn't all that great in the first camp, so I don't think they were sure what they had in him yet...he certainly became the successor for sure after the first few regular season games.

Well you think Dak sucks so why would we believe any of your opinions?

There are a lot of you. Question - Is there anything he can do to change your mind? Would a SB win do it? League MVP? NFC Championship? 40 TDs? Anything?

Is it the contract? Is it because he is not Mahomes or Wilson?

Dak haters and fans agree that Dak can be inconsistent with accuracy but I think he adds toughness, running ability and leadership.

Serious question so don’t be nasty. What, if anything, could he do to win you over?
He’s actually a lot like Wilson.

he should have signed the contract

Are you ignorant or stupid?
Because that isn't remotely true. Lol. I have Dak as a top 6 QB, regardless of age.
And don’t forget, Dak would’ve won the Rams game except for the bogus offensive pass interference on Gallup on that final drive. You haters only look at the final score and react.

There should be no hate or love not worth wasting emotion ..... the team is about making money and the players are modern-day gladiators.
