I think the Boys are looking for someone on the streets who might still command a double team. I don't
know if any of this crop would do that. If they can get someone good enough, it would open up the field
for all the other receivers and the RB's. The Boys are trying to stick to the script and Dez being out really
crimps that prime directive.

Gates and Pettis can help in ST. May factor into their decision.

Would rather have someone that can help take the top off the defense. With so many balls going to RBs out the backfield, it'd make sense to have a burner that can keep a defense honest.

Remember, Tony Romo has made guys like Crayton, Robinson, Bease, Hurd, Williams, etc all look like decent NFL talents. He's made a career of making average guys look great, as long as they have enough speed to get 'some' separation - Romo will handle the rest. They've been high on Street, but he's starting to become Ogletree 2.0.

Also, I'd expect us to run a lot of two TE sets now like New England did with Gronk & the murderer. This could be a big opportunity for Escobar to justify that 2nd round pick.

Speedy receiver is a good idea

We have proven that we gave no idea how to run a 2 TE offense and this is not the time to try

If a WR can "command a double team" they're not on the street

I cannot stand this damn argument. "They are on the street for a reason"

People act like no FA has ever come in and helped a team in the past. Might as well get rid of it.

I know about Nicks, does anyone have height/weight info and details on type of players the other 2 are?

Nicks never the same after injury.

I like the idea of using Escobar wide esp the X some.

That's a very astute comment and I agree. But, you do know by bringing guys in, they are trying.
Obviously, Dallas doesn't think "the" guy is on the team right now to handle the job. Will McClay is
beating the bushes and checking couches to see if a stone can be turned over. TO might be the
best option even at his age.

That why I would like to see them bring in Denarius Moore

I think they need someone who can block on the outside.. seriously.. Dunbar, Lucky and Bease are not who you want blocking for the run game. My guess is that they flank out Escobar in some cases.

I agree that they are trying and generally doing a good job

Nicks is watched out, rather see more of a Laurent Robinson type who is younger and can run.

I would try to make a deal with Houston or some one else for a guy like Nate Washington.

I've always liked Pettis, even though his production has been great. This speaks a lot as to what they think about AJ Jenkins.

I disagree. I think they know what they would get with Jenkins, and are just exploring other options.

However, he did disappear after awhile. Maybe they don't think him or Harwell can contribute.
