I agree Bleu Star .. Plus, AP may never see the field again .. Plus let's all just enjoy this season and stop worrying about the next flavor of the month that is released and dallas has to sign

Apologies, but this is just stupid.

The realms this board extends to makes the sixties look like a health food experiment.

How is it stupid? There is no guarantee Demarco will be back after this year. In fact I'll say he's going to the highest bidder. He
never heard anyone say shady will be cut

sounds like a BS rumor OP just made up

Bleacher report had a article up a few days ago, I think it was Florio who wrote it.

Let say McCoy is released you think he will sign cheap? 31 other teams will be in the running as well. You say Murray will go to the highest bidder? so will McCoy

I'm trying to figure out how guys like an AP of McCoy will all of a sudden just come to Dallas on the cheap. It really is too funny, what guys get released and will come to Dallas for any old offer? You want McCoy or Peterson it is not going to come cheap. hell I would just as soon stay with what we have as opposed to getting older RB in here. I know some are finding it hard to believe but Murray is a damn good RB

The reasoning for Mccoy coming to Dallas is that he would get to play on a good team with a great offensive line and get to play against the Eagles. Sure Jerry would have to give him a fair deal, but I think the opportunity to play against your old team and stay in the division would be enticing for McCoy.

Players play for money, if Jerry is going to fork over to last years NFL leading rusher then why not fork over to this years. He does not even have to adapt to the system he already knows it.

AP isn't playing for $3 million a year and will still expect to be the highest paid RB in the league.

I agree with you, hell after the legal fees he will be needing a lot of money. I don't think AP is going to be handing out discounts.

Sounds like he has his trial set up for Dec 1, 2014 and that the state prosecutor is open to a plea deal so he knows what his worst fate in this whole matter most likely is.

Now, how does the league deal with the whole matter and how harsh will AP's suspension be?

That's what's going to drive AP's price down, but he's not going to just play for peanuts, that's for sure.

AP could be the poster child for what may end up happening. This story and the case of abuse as a social problem in general could likely see the courts and league coming down very hard on AP. Football should be the least of his worries right now

There is talk in Philly that the Eagles will probably release Shady McCoy in the offseason because he's due to make 12 million next year. I'm sure he would love to play against the Eagles twice a year if they release him.

If Murray gets a monster deal somewhere maybe Jerry can sign Mccoy to replace him?

Most eagles will tell you something isn't right mentally or physically with McCoy. Until I see few games this year that resemble player from last year.....I wouldn't consider him.

maybe not 3 million but I predict his next contract will be between 9-15million for 3 years. if it's any higher than that I owe you and @Doomsday101 a drink.

you don't call jerry jones in the middle of the offseason, during a george strait concert, and beg him to sign you, then play hardball at the negotiating table.
