It's hard to win 6 straight games in the NFL with just some good fortune.

But not impossible. And if you watched it, you saw it happen. Why else would Elway let such an inspirational guy go with all those wins? It wasnt real. It was the stuff of novels and unsustainable.

Why didnt Rex use all that inspiration in NY?

Why is Tebow unemployed?

Why wouldnt his hometown team with Tebow crazed loons not bring him in to at least give the fans in Jax a reason to go to games?

Reality sux I know, but there has never been a guy to get more credit for doing so little other than maybe another guy we see in the news and flying around the country.

Probably should have, eh? Couldn't be any worse than sticking with Mark Sanchez all season long and going 6-10.

If Tebow was really all that - why would Elway trade him and then go pay all the money to Peyton Manning? I'll side with Elway instead of the Tebowing wave of loons that were caught up in that nonsense.

Tebow wasn't all that that's why he was traded and just got the boot from the Jets. Tebow is NOT a good NFL QB he won some games with his leadership, unorthodox style and ability to raise the level of play from his teammates. He inspired his team. There's talk all over the internet about his inspirational qualities. The guy did inspire a lot of people that season not only on his team but around the country.

All he did was state a fact that Tebow won a playoff game leading the Broncos and Peyton Manning lost a playoff game leading the Broncos. You claimed he "clearly" implied that Tebow was better than Manning. Who in the hell in their right mind would imply that Tebow is better than Peyton Manning? There's examples all over the board of posters making comments only to have you put your own ridiculous spin on them. You've done it to me. LOL Dude, you have an agenda!

The only way anybody could say I have an agenda would be to say that the agenda is calling out the foolishness and nonsense for what it is. And if it was really an agenda I would have far more posts on here than I do!

I get what you're going after, KJ. I have no doubt he inspired his teammates to play harder and to really buckle down and focus that year when he took over that team. His charisma can be infectious, no doubt. I don't think he'll ever have a strong skill set in order to make it long term as a good NFL QB, but there's no doubt he has all the intangebles you could ever ask for from your QB position.. which is why he did so well in college.

You clearly have an "anti E-Lie" agenda. I don't think i've ever seen someone more jealous of an opposing teams player.

He let him go because he can't pass the ball accurately where have you been??? No NFL team can win consistently with a QB like Tebow who isn't a gifted passer. Inspiration and leadership are only going to get you so far a QB has to be able to throw the football accurately and be a productive passer in the NFL. Those were qualities Tebow didn't have that's why he's unemployed.

Because Rex needs a QB who can pass the ball. The Tebow inspirational magic ran out vs NE during the playoffs in 2011. Thats why Tebow was sent packing from Denver and Rex kept him riding the pine in NY. Why replace one crappy passer with an even crappier passer? Rex put Tebow out there a few times and saw he had nothing defenses had figured Tebow out. He caught some teams by surprise in 2011.

Because they saw what happened with him in NY. Did he help the Jets? LOL JAX needs a QB that can throw the football not create a distraction. The clock ran out on Tebow time in Denver.

Tebow is done in the NFL but his intangibles inspired Denver for several games in 2011. Not being a skilled passer caught up with him and did him in.

You do the same with Eli who's a talented "QB." Any credit that's bestowed his way you call foolish nonsense. It doesn't take a lot of posts to have an agenda. Most people who come here with agendas don't have many posts because some agendas will get them the boot.

Not being a fan of big blue I look at E-Lie from an objective standpoint. I tell it like it is. Its a real shame that Cowboys fans on a Cowboys forum consider that an agenda. The only agenda is to call it like it is.

There's no doubt that you believe you are being objective in your opinion of "E-Lie".

Here is what I've learned so far from this thread. According to Nav22's ignorance the HOF is obsolete. Players and coaches who have spent their lives in the game know nothing. It's obvious that a QB throwing bad passes doesn't matter because the D and everyone else is part of a team. Never mind that those turnovers then put the defense on the field more, etc, etc. pretty much it's no ones fault ever and great players don't make a difference because on teams everyone is culpable. Hilarious. Now I don't have to ever worry about upgrading talent because its never anyone's fault.

Sorry. Smarter than you'll ever be about football. Played and my best friend is a D-1 college football coach who I've been with through a season. You're idea of acting smart is cutting people down while making a large amount of laughing icons. You can't have it both ways. Defending Romo while at the same time minimizing how their mistakes affect games and how great QBs lead is laughable. You can't just throw out "team" and have that be a coverall. I happen to think Romo is an excellent QB that has needed line help. I also think he makes mental mistakes that puts our D in bad positions. But that is called being objective. Your way of thinking takes talent out of the equation and basically looks to make excuses. It's not realistic. I guess knowing real football from real coaches in football makes me a mouth breather. Move along.
