Best point of all the Merriman threads tonight... Merriman played the same position in college that he's playing now right? Let's give Ware some more time.

Good, let me repeat it.

This is Merriman's 4th year in this system playing LB.

Last year was Ware's 1st and he had a performance that blows this away against a team that went to the NFC Championship game.....and the SB a few years earlier.

And this line isn't anything close to what Ware faced last year vs Oakland.

What I do like is that Merriman's intensity pumps up his team, and can motivate others. I have only seen this kinda fire from Roy on our team, but that ain't too often.

You can make fun of him for dancing around and such, but it does excite the rest of his team and can change the momentum to your favor. Ray Lewis does this all the time, Junior Seau is another. Ware doesn't have this personality, and that is something I, personally, have to accept.

Still not the game Ware had against Carolina.

Ware had that game against Carolina because his manhood was tested - people were questioning whether he was a bust or not.

Ware has Greg Ellis syndrome - he's just too nice of a guy to be a dominating passrusher.

Merriman wants to decapitate the QB and then punt his head into the first row.

Ware had that attitude during the Carolina game but he is not able to bring that intensity every week.

You know at one time I didn;t want to admitt it, but it is becomming more and more evident that Dallas should have taken Shawne Merriman...it absolutly pains me to say that!.....AHHHHH!!!
