Hmm. Ware confronted that same Raider line last year. How many sacks did he rack up? They both play in the 3-4 and they're both surrounded by a lot of talent. The excuses need to end. Merriman is superior.

I just think when the chargers play, it looks like a jailbreak back there, ware is all by himself so the QB can move easier. We have to start bringing more pressure some kinda way. I mean, I don't think the chargers have a better secondary than ours, so we should be able to allow them to attack the QB.

I know he doesnt have a sack. I was saying there is some way someone will "adjust" it to the numbers speak more highly of Ware....

Fact is, Merriman is a beast.

Already, you have people trying to belittle his play tonite because suddenly, its encroaching upon their "Ware is just as good" belief....(I am not saying you are doing this....but there are some doing so).
