I’m surprised they were able to trade Darius at all honestly. His contract is horrible. Good trade for Buffalo. Their D has been just fine with him playing limited snaps, and they get a bunch of cap space to go with all of those picks

He has issues. He was not allowed to play ond of the preseason games due to violating team rules. The Bills cut his snaps way back. He is super talented but a team has to take on some guaranteed money to trade for him. Cap space is no issue for the Jags because they barely met the minimum spend in recent years.

He'll probably be good this season but his 2018 salary is partially guaranteed; therefore, it's not just a conditional pick and then dump him at no cost if he fails.

I glad someone mentioned that. The salary floor while in concept seems like a good idea, forcing owners to spend money instead of being content on making money with minimal investment. It now causes mediocre talent to be over priced and making real talent stupidly over priced. The salary floor will push salaries back to where they were before the current CBA.

37m in cap space can buy some steak and they do have Parnell at LT
I was watching the Skins-Eagles game the other day and when Kerrigan made some plays it reminded me of how Parnell completely dominated Kerrigan back in 2014. You had to watch the All-22 to see it because Kerrigan was driven completely out of the frame in the broadcast view on most snaps.

Jerry is too busy to make trades as he at the owners meeting wearing his yellow jacket getting snubbed by owners who are locking him out of meetings with them due to some of stances on issues that he has.

A mediocre player does not turn into a defensive mvp due to a contract.

He is healthy and playing alongside Maliek.

Anyways...Maliek is more productive than Dareus the last two years.

Carry on.

I will carry on. You realize Dareus and Collins aren't the same type of DT right?

We could've had a lot of help on defense at not much cost. A lot of players going elsewhere that are certainly upgrades at some of our spots. Not sure why they aren't interested in some of these guys at the prices?
