Unfortunately this is becoming a problem across the sporting landscape and needs to be fixed.
I wouldn't just say sports, but I get your point Viman

Why does that even matter? A person got shot.
What a dumb question.
If the shooter was a fan of a specific team and shot a fan of another team it makes that fan base look bad. Nobody wants the Cowboys home games to get the reputation that teams like the Eagles have where opposing fans might not be safe to go there.
If it keeps our stadium from completely being taken over by opposing fans 3-4 times a year, then I'm all for that reputation.
You are not thinking of the bigger picture. Knowing who did it and their motivation could help the Police, Cowboys and Rangers security to prevent this crap from happening.

seriously? you don't care if people get shot just so you can maintain a "fan base" that's historically quiet and corporate anyway?
just...damn.
Why wouldn't you be armed, especially with stories like this being nothing new? The gun didn't fire on its own... Sometimes it takes good guys with guns to stop bad guys with guns.
Please show me where i said i didn't care that anyone got shot. I didn't even mention the shooting.
