Twitter: Shooting in ATT Stadium parking lot after the game

Why does that even matter? A person got shot.

What a dumb question.

If the shooter was a fan of a specific team and shot a fan of another team it makes that fan base look bad. Nobody wants the Cowboys home games to get the reputation that teams like the Eagles have where opposing fans might not be safe to go there.

I'll bet that whole area was a cluster with the Rangers game starting right after the Cowboys game was over. They normally share parking lots so I don't know how that worked. It's normally a big mess after a Cowboys game without any other issues.

Someone said that there were people around egging on the shooter to kill the guy. The shooter should have turned the gun on them. They deserved to be the one to die.

If it keeps our stadium from completely being taken over by opposing fans 3-4 times a year, then I'm all for that reputation.

seriously? you don't care if people get shot just so you can maintain a "fan base" that's historically quiet and corporate anyway?

just...damn.

Yeah. Of course it does.

That goes without saying.

I don't want the Cowboys fans getting that reputation either. But that's far from important. That's information you just pick up as the story continues to come out. It's not a question that should pop into ones head and have a valid concern over given the circumstances.

At least not IMO.

Scary. I was supposed to be in Lot 9 tailgating but my two friends left (everyone else BAILED on me) didn't want to spend the money so I didn't want to go alone with dudes I didn't know - even though one was a Chicago Detective.... lol... still.... Sigh.... This really upsets me all the way around....

Please show me where i said i didn't care that anyone got shot. I didn't even mention the shooting.

Why wouldn't you be armed, especially with stories like this being nothing new? The gun didn't fire on its own... Sometimes it takes good guys with guns to stop bad guys with guns.

I'm not an anti gun type of guy, I own a shotgun and rifle and I'm from Canada where it's much harder to purchase this stuff. But bringing guns where a lot of booze is consumed is beyond dumb. And I've never heard of a story where a good samaritan with a gun saved the day from a bad guy with a gun. If anything it would make the situation more volatile for everyone around

oh i'm sorry. you're right.

by the way, how are we going to get that rep again? you know, to keep out the other teams players???
