No one develops a QB during the season. They simply do not get snaps, except on the scout team. Unless they re-institute Romo Wednesdays, Tony will take 90% of the snaps, Weeden 10%.

Right. Scout team reps. The same reps Tony Romo got when he arrived here that caused Darren Woodson to tell Bill Parcells this guy is the best QB we have. By a lot.
And who says it has to be QB any way? I'm just saying he probably stands a better chance to make it in the league if you pick a position and stick with it.

For someone lucky to get four or five offensive touches in a game, yes one fumble is huge.

Umm, yes, he was taking scout reps. But Romo impressed the coaches and team during the prior preseason, everyone except Parcells.
Most thought Romo should start that season instead of Bledsoe.
