Lol as I said 70% of his passes came in 1-10 yards and Reed did the dirty work. Same with Nick foles he dumped it off and McCoy took control. Cousins isn't getting the respect from the media because there aware of this

He could give him a kaepernick type deal. Not trying hard at all. I watched the games. Got hot against crappy teams and the worse defense in the league (saints) mind you they gave up a league high in passing tds. 45. Cousins is this years Nick foles. His yards per attempt were good but yards per completion were near last. As I said I watched his games and I see a serviceable qb At best .

Lol you serious? Romo beat good teams, cousins hasn't. In fact he's below average against good teams. Cousins dumped the ball off more than any qb in the league last year. Nick foles did the same thing in 2013 with all his screen passes and had 27 tds and only 2 ints. What happened to him the following year? You guys are in for a rude awakening. We've been over this before, and you continue to spout the same inaccurate points. We run the West Coast Offense, and it's a very generic version at that. It calls for short passes, Cousins is running the offense the way he's supposed to. Now you could say in the first half of the season Gruden and McVay were trying to protect Cousins with the running game. And it would be true, based off how he performed in 2014 they wanted to build his confidence and protect him from those meltdowns he used to have when he committed a turnover. But when that was going nowhere because the running game sucked, and Kirk wasn't melting down when he had an INT or fumble, he convinced them to start trusting him more and the offense actually became pass first. There is actually video evidence of this when Kirk was mic'd up during a game and OC Sean McVay apologized to him for him not making Kirk the focal point of their gameplans sooner.

The reason why we have an over abundance of short passes in our passing attack, is because it was supplanting the completely non-existent running attack. Those weren't dump off/check down passes. Kirk was throwing to his first or second read in plays designed for the receiver to get the ball within 5-7 yards of the line of scrimmage. The defense knew it was coming, and they still couldn't stop it. This is why I keep telling you to stop embarrassing yourself with this Foles comparison, it's lazy thinking and shows you didn't watch any of those games you base your opinion off. Foles and Cousins ran two entirely different offenses, with different offensive philosophies. One QB tailed off at the end of the season, and the other QB continued to get better.

There will be no rude awakening. We already know what we have in our QB. And all you have is wishful thinking....a blind hope that Kirk isn't the real deal. Which is why you fall back on faulty logic.

70% of his passes completed were within 10 yards. The average is 59%. Cousins was also 28th in passing when taking shots down the field. Against the saints he only had 5 passes travel in the air past 11 yards.

Look at his splits. Kirk threw 543 passes last season. 304 of those were thrown 1-10 yards. That is 56%, 3% lower than that BS mythical average you threw out there. Prove the stat where he's "28th in passing when taking shots down the field", not only is that vague but there is no number value attached to it. Is this talking about 41+ yards or more, or is it starting at 30+ yards?

And obviously if you take a QB's weapons away that are not as effective. How would Romo have performed all these years without Dez or Witten?
