Can't say that I blame him. We did him wrong IMO. He is a good player and we kept forcing him into a position that he was ill-suited for.Quick story i met him last month at my work ( car dealership) let’s just say he will not entertain coming back to play for us !!!! In fact he was adamant that he will never come back to play for us… in fact he was telling me he was considering retiring …
Doesn't surprise me who would want to play for this circus. Jerry has made is a joke.Quick story i met him last month at my work ( car dealership) let’s just say he will not entertain coming back to play for us !!!! That's all that mattersHe would be ready for the Super Bowl.
Reports are that Connor might retireACLs in Centers are not very bad. Roberto Garza started for the Bears for several years, including a SB.....he did not have ACLs in either knee. Great leg strength and braces made up for it.
I misspoke. Meant to say for two seasons...pending Cowboys doctors approval. If his knee doesn't look good, hard pass.did you say 7 to 8 million?
He’s gonna be out of Jerry’s price rangeNot sure bro this has Jones family written all over it
There are a couple of centers in this draft who can start day one. As low as we are drafting we might slide back a few spots, add another pick and get a center ready to step in for less than a vet who is just avgPass, rather draft one.

He’s a scrub man.I would prefer they draft a guy. But yea CW wouldn't be bad at the right price. Might have to let Hoffman start and let CW work his way back into playing shape but I have no problems with CW. I think Stephens just too cheap. Biadesz getting 10 a year and CW was a much better center.
Man. If it was that easy, every team would have a PB center. There are a couple of centers in this draft who can start day one. As low as we are drafting we might slide back a few spots, add another pick and get a center ready to step in for less than a vet who is just avg
Because I'm tired of expecting a player not even a year removed from ACL to be at full production levels. Why not?
He was one of the best centers for 2 straight years before injury but you think that's a scrub. Sounds like you have an agenda against him and that's ok, but your wrong. Now if you want to say he could be limited from the injury that might be fair but I don't think it will limit him more than any other position coming back from the same injury. He’s a scrub man.
Brock Hoffman is expected and ready to start this upcoming 2024 season. Wouldn't that give Connor Williams time to rehab and regain full function by seasons end?Because I'm tired of expecting a player not even a year removed from ACL to be at full production levels.
If this OL was structured where he can come in he the backup while regaining full function and take over next year maybe, but it's not.
Well that's still up for debate lolBrock Hoffman is expected and ready to start this upcoming 2024 season. Wouldn't that give Connor Williams time to rehab and regain full function by seasons end?
True. Maybe a small games remaining contract can be offered IF Connor Williams shows he's medically progressing well with his knee and able to come back and play? If not, no love lost to move past him. Just stay in touch and see how he progresses for now. He showed in Miami he can be a very good Center, better than what we've had since Travis Frederick.Well that's still up for debate lol
We've met with quite a few centers
I see what you're saying but cap space and if Brock plays well you're stuck paying an expensive backup.
