Should Dak run more?

Dak may have to run more just to get our offense going. Gives the opposing defenses something else to think about. His runs the other night sure perked things up.

I agree to a point, it may help, but if I had one critism on Dak, is that he needs to be able to open the offense up to prevent the defense from selling out on the run. They don't fear Daks passing offense in standard pocket sets. Running more QB run design plays would help but the league has proven time and time again that type of offense is not sustainable.

I feel Dak and our offense is only mediocre when he is strictly passing. It is what it is. Running is what made him a great QB but not saying he should run and risk injury. Good teams are figuring out our running game and starting to shut us down. We could use some change up to keep defenses on their toes.

The two long passes to Butler on Monday night were a good start to opening up the offense.....Agree, I would rather see plays like those than designed QB runs. Ultimately both the long passes and Dak's runs helped the running game.
