do you honestly or for that matter do many here really think he is going to last all season?
The guy with the Dak avatar thinks Tony should just quit. Imagine that!

Sanders could still perform well but retired early. That's "quitting." Romo can still perform well but if he steps down it's "retiring" and not quitting.I said he should consider retiring, that's not the same as quitting. quitting would be what Barry Sanders did.
he has plenty of money....he should be worrying about his health after football.
Santiago de Chile3 times....twice last year
Sanders quit because he didnt want to play for the Lions anymore.....Romo could retire for health purposes....see the difference now?Sanders could still perform well but retired early. That's "quitting." Romo can still perform well but if he steps down it's "retiring" and not quitting.
No.Sanders quit because he didnt want to play for the Lions anymore.....Romo could retire for health purposes....see the difference now?
yea and Muhammed Ali didn't want to quit either.No.
Certain people would like for Romo to quit for various reasons, including health related ones. Romo disagrees. Romo will continue striving to play quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys because he loves playing the position and the franchise. If Sanders' decision is compared against Romo's personal conviction of playing until he wants to retire, doesn't that seem like a contradiction?
All we can do is hope Dak is the next Tom Brady. Because its coming. And soon.
Ali's name wouldn't be the last example anyone could provide. Far from it.yea and Muhammed Ali didn't want to quit either.

Good intentions or not, the entire discussion hinges greatly upon what Romo thinks right now. And his opinion squashes all others.
I'll agree with that....but if it were me, i wouldn't take chances with a back like his.Ali's name wouldn't be the last example anyone could provide. Far from it.

The franchise considers its Romo's job to lose. It's anyone's guess whether Romo's job will go to Prescott or any other quarterback due to an injury Romo cannot bounce back from, being outplayed by Prescott, etc. Those are the types of circumstances which shall make the franchise re-evaluate their choice of starting quarterback. However, if and until circumstances change, the ball remains solidly within Romo's court for the foreseeable future. Not so sure it's about what Romo thinks right now. I understand what ya mean, but when you get old, you still think like a young man but your body just doesn't react as you want it to....that being said, I hope the Cowboys view this objectively. Aikman was in similar fashion when he retired, Father Time rules is all.
One of the most common fallacies people believe (and strongly sometimes) is projecting their own perceptions upon others. I know that I've certainly been guilty of the practice from time-to-time.I'll agree with that....but if it were me, i wouldn't take chances with a back like his.
