I don't believe we could've beat the Patriots in the SB this year. Even though we match up well against the Giants, the Giants match up better against the Patriots. JMHO

If anybody thinks we would have beat the Pats with jock-strap Reeves covering Wes Welker again, they are insane:(

With a healthy TO we would have gone after a shootout with them. I think TNew would have been fully healthy and would have been planted on Moss so that Welker would not have been left alone. Ware and Ellis would have had to have had great games. And our O line would have needed to actually run block well. But I do think the Pats were ripe= they were worn down and it was clear that their LBs were just too old and too tired. I would have called a lot of short passes to MB and Julius to make the LBS run even more. Wear them down then pound the ball in the 4th qtr.

Crayton. He had a really bad night of unusual drops. If my pained memory serves me correctly, they were big drops too. However, it was like a metaphor of the whole danged team that night. They didn't play the way they usually did through the season. The G'ints displayed the discipline and desire through the whole playoffs which even the Patriots lacked.

You're really good!!! ...just don't quit that dishwashing day-job quite yet.:)
Dishwashing job! That's pretty funny, PT! :laugh2:

Saaaay, dishwashing... That reminds me. I need to pick up some Jet Dry for the dishwasher for that spotless shine. It's practically the one thing in the whole world that'll dissolve phoenix bird off dinnerware.

And stop advertising your product on a Dallas Cowboys forum, PT. Most customers haven't tried it yet, but Phoenix bird is a nasty critter, let me tell you. Don't taste like chicken. Tastes like... I don't know... cellar meat. :puke:

:)

This is intriguing ...

Taking into consideration that it was just time for the partiots to lose that one game, the Cowboys handed out spankings to the Giants twice!

Giants at Dallas on Sunday, 9/9 ...Dallas won 35-45

Dallas at Giants on Sunday, 11/11 ...Dallas won 20-31

What do you believe was the reason you didn't make the big show?

We weren't playing anywhere near our best football at the end of the season, the Giants were playing better than they had all year...

That's why Cowboys fans are annoyed right now, if we'd taken the team the way it was playing at midseason, we would have rolled in the playoffs, we're all convinced of it...

Teams get hot and look unbeatable. Those same teams get cold and can't seem to beat anybody.

plain and simple: lack of self-confidence on both sides, players and coaches. the team struggeled when it counted the most.

players didn't show up because they were pushing too hard. coaches didn't adjust all year, especially on the offense side. no offense to our OC he was in his first year and will have time to learn.

How was this Garrets fault when you have 3 tds left on the field and a big dropped 1st down failure to adjust to what players getting wide open and droping the ball :bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2:

Garrett's offense was working the players left 21+ points on the field
