Should we consider switching out Parker for Quinn if Commanders sack him?

Great question. For some reason DQ is the only person on earth who can give us a competent D. Only problem this time is no Micah. So not so sure how DQs D will work with no pass rush at all.
Do miss all those turnovers his D'S would produce. Id like Al Harris back too. Our secondary has been garbage without him when it used to be a strength.

I wouldn't be opposed to Harris as DC

Not only do some Cowboys fans love misery and never learn their lesson. They want to run it back and relive the misery in real time. Craving mediocrity and the same mistakes over and over again. Most ignorant fan base on planet Earth.

If the Commanders sack Quinn....... should we consider switching out Parker for him? Don't get me wrong, I am trying to be patient with Parker, but if we can bring back Quinn in some capacity, that might help our defence? He knew how to make our defence good.

Legit, if Washington sacks Quinn, the Cowboys may have won without playing today. If nothing else, him and Parker would make a great tag team. Quinn's specialty is dline. Parker is supposed to be good with secondary. Those two working together. We might be able to make our D much better quickly.
Nope. No thank you. Better to wish the Jones family gets caught up in a "blip" goes away for five year or if we get lucky...forever. Stop wanting retreads. If they have failed, move on. Quinn is a loser and have shown you that...move on....I repeat please no more retreads. No more old coaches coming to get a pay check vs a ring. Anyhow, did I say no thank you? If not...no thank you.

Post of the day.

If Jerry were to make a change it needs to be a complete overhaul of coaches. More experienced head coach preferably defensive head coach and let him build a solid team with a mix of experienced coaches and some younger talented coaches.

Quinn was a joke until Micah Parsons showed up.

I know many don't like that and want to respond but it's true and not just for Quinn.

Do you really believe that Bland and Diggs would have led the league in INTs without him?

Do you think the Cowboys led the league in takeaways during Parsons tenure as a Cowboy because of Quinn's defensive schemes?

Was Quinn really the reason the Cowboys had the 2nd most sacks during that time period? Was it his defensive gameplan that led to the Cowboys having the highest scoring defense....by far?

Jerry Jones traded a generational future Hall of Famer for two tired old DTs and a highly drafted DE pass rusher that needs development.

I guess one and done or none is done is better. Micah was never going to take us over the top while he was here for various reasons.

Parsons ability to impact the pass rush masked alot of holes in our defense.

Yeah, he was silent in playoffs, but he was also the only defender teams game planned around since no one else on that Dline was worth anything.

Respectfully disagree.

Last season, all the Cowboys needed was an average defense and Parsons would have given us that.

If you were to add a dozen more sacks and a couple moe forced fumbles gthat could have done it.

Not only that, but the secondary would have prospered greatly by the pressure on the QBs delivered by Parsons, not to mention the additional attention given to him by the opponent offense.

Both Clark and Williams, the DTs would have been far more effective.

True, but Clark and Q would not have been here if we kept Micah. Jerry would not have built around him.

LOL, yep. Temporary brain damage on my part.

I still say the defense would have been far better with Parsons even absent Clark and Williams, who didn't do anything for run defense last season.

Also, Eberflus wouldn't have to completely revise his defensive strategy a week before opening day. The morale of that defense wouldn't have been completely gutted.
