He is doing well.
Every time I hear that name Hendershot I think of this...
A highly logical and fascinating question!National Tight End Day? I swear they have a "day" or a "month" for everything in the universe now lol. When is National Guag Day?

Ah, so this turns into something that isn't permitted on this board. Let's not.Why would he want to inject himself with poison?
No, that's unsportsmanlike conduct! He is an UDFA steal. He can flex at wr as well.
I don't understand why it was stupid. It's not like they were going to use the money for someone else.Giving Schultz the Franchise was not smart but with the failure that was Blake Jarwin, they were backed into a corner with TE. They just cannot compound the mistake by trying to get Schultz signed to a long term deal at the end of the season. Yes a Franchise tag is a large sum of money but at least its only a 1 year mistake.
him and Ferguson both can block and run simple routes. If they can run the same routes as Schultz then Schultz becomes extremely expendable.
Because Schultz is not a dynamic TE, he is basically you typical TE that does well in the 7-15 yard range and moves the chains and sucks at blocking. If the Jarwin experiment had not failed they would not have Franchised him. At the time it was him and McKeon, they were in painted into a corner and needed to fill a hole, he had a good season but he really was not franchise tag worthy. His understanding of the offense and chemistry with Dak and lack of other TE talent of the roster caused the FO to panic. I understand why they did it but only saving grace is they did not get a long term deal done so its a 1 year mistake.I don't understand why it was stupid. My point is that they had the money, and probably wouldn't have used it to upgrade anything more important, so it was their best move. It's like waiting for the new model of the car you want to buy next year, and your old car's battery dies. You feel like it's a waste, but you have to buy the battery to get you through. (Not the greatest analogy, but close enough)Because Schultz is not a dynamic TE, he is basically you typical TE that does well in the 7-15 yard range and moves the chains and sucks at blocking. Could have, but wouldn't have. I think they could have kept Wilson anyway, if they wanted to.While true, I think the money could have been used on Cedrick Wilson, or a FA LG.
He is human with human emotions. He owned it so let's move on.He accused his girlfriend of cheating on him, took her phone and shoved her against a wall when she tried to take it back from him. That is what the victim said happened in 2020 and he apologized for it. That hardly, "he beats women." I understand that there's no excuse for his behavior, but it also doesn't mean he's a bad person who deserves to have that hung around his neck.
“I want to say I made a huge mistake and I’m sorry to all the people who were involved,” Hendershot said. “Everybody I let down, I feel horrible and so remorseful for it, because there are so many people who have helped me get to where I am in my life."
“I feel like that was just a letdown to all of them and they all believed in me and that’s what I did.”
It'd scare our opponents lol.
Can you imagine his slow continuous walk towards the QB... never stopping....all of a sudden his is there.....probably have to teach him to finish the play without the knife......
Shultz is a jag who got tagged by our inept GM. He could have and should have been replaced by McKeon and anyone we drafted.
