He accused his girlfriend of cheating on him, took her phone and shoved her against a wall when she tried to take it back from him. That is what the victim said happened in 2020 and he apologized for it. That hardly, "he beats women." I understand that there's no excuse for his behavior, but it also doesn't mean he's a bad person who deserves to have that hung around his neck.

We don't know for sure if the FO lets him walk, or if he decides to walk.

Maybe they offer him a longer term deal at a cheaper price, something cap-friendly, based on this year's performance as opposed to 2021's.

I'm betting the Cowboys will give him some incentives if we make it to the playoffs, depending on his production/performance in the playoffs.. like a Jerry Jones secret handshake deal.

Could have, but wouldn't have. I think they could have kept Wilson anyway, if they wanted to.

I think the issue with Wilson was that they wanted to give Noah Brown the shot he deserved and knew he can give you similar production in the passing game (us fans just weren't sure).

As far as Amari Cooper, they let him go in order to keep Tank and sign him to a new contract, which is the part most people whining about Cooper omit.
