Showers shining in OTAs

Does not look like a 1st round to me.
Hope his accuracy has improved.

Any one know how strong his arm is?

One thing that stuck out about Showers from last year was how poised he looked for a UDFA. Unlike most rookies, he didn't have the deer in the headlights look to him. If he has improved his accuracy, I can see him pushing Moore for the backup QB position.

He's gonna have to play lights out in preseason and Moore has to really struggle.

Good grief. If someone reported the guy couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, folks would be ready to cut the guy. Let's give the guy some credit for crying out loud. Showers' problem unfortunately is Linehan has a love-affair with Moore and Dak is a 4th round draft pick, so Showers looks to be the odd man out. His opportunity may have to be on another team.

It's always good news to hear one of our own (Showers) is doing good -- especially at the QB position. Realistically, it's too early yet to make an informed judgment about who's the best and/or who isn't. Dak will require considerable added time to catch up if he's indeed destined to. As far as Moore is concerned, it's always been what he knows more than how he throws -- lol.

Hearing some whispers from those in the know that through two days of OTAs – Jameill Showers has been the second-best quarterback on the field. In watching him during practice, I thought his accuracy and poise were outstanding in the opportunities he received.

Really? I watched a clip on the nfl network yesterday out of philly that said Bradford was leaps ahead of wentz.
It's all just noise right now anyway....

I disagree, he is a fourth round pick, he should be treated like that. Moore has been in the league for several years and has seen NFL action, he should be given the benefit of the doubt unless he blows it. Phillip Rivers started his career as a third string QB, sometimes it takes time for a rookie to evolve, especially a fourth round pick.

Maybe not, but all he can do is play well when given the opportunity. Hes apparently off to a good start, so Ill just consider this to be positive news.

Well if it means the Eagles are still without a Super Bowl 15 years from now, I am okay with that.

McNabb is not a bad QB but he is the product of an awful division. The Cowboys and Commanders were hopeless during that span and the Giants were not much better searching for their franchise QB.

It's no coincidence that once Manning/Romo emerged for their respective teams, McNabb and the Eagles started to decline significantly.
