DS9 would have been a lot better if Sisco had been more like Hawk.

The only characters I liked on DS9 was Odo and the ferengi (sp?)

I don't know...just seemed like a boring show. Also that had to be the most boring Commander in a star trek series ever.

He had one Hawk moment. When Q first showed up he punched him. :laugh2:

Deadwood and Rome are two that HBO screwed up on.

Yeap

The last season of Rome was screwed up by cramming two seasons in to one.

In one scene Octavian was a kid and the next he was an adult. :laugh2:

The only characters I really liked were the ones played by Kevin McKidd and Ray Stevenson. I can't remember their names at the moment.

Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo.

I read recently that they wanted to make a Rome movie and HBO said they made a mistake (you think) in canceling Rome.

But like Deadwood...the sets were destroyed and the actors had to move on.

The writers said when they were starting to write the second season that that is when they found out that they were canceled and they had to blow through history to wrap it up.

They said seasons 4 and 5 would have been in Egypt.

Damn HBO.

I heard HBO shut down Deadwood and Rome because they were too expensive then they turn around and green light a show that cost more than they did. I don't remember which one.

I don't know which show you're talking about that got green lighted, but you're right about they canceled them because of expense.

Firefly - A GREAT show that Fox killed by showing out of order, they decided instead of showing the pilot first to introduce the charcters, that the first show need alot of action. So they jumbled up the episodes and made the 3rd episode the first.

Moonlight - A great vampire show.

She was better than sisco IMO.

I could make a typical female driver joke about her, but I wont. Voyager was great premise with an awful follow through. They were supposed to be struggling in a new land, but they had a never ending supply of shuttle craft, torpedoes, resources, etc. it was the like the Next Generation reset button phenomenon x100. And they made the borg sissies.

DS9 was bad if you only watched the first 2 seasons, much like Next Gen, it improved greatly around the season 3 point.

SleeperCell on Shotime was another great show that should have gone on longer.

It's nice to see some fans remember Space:Above & Beyond. It's always good to see Trek fans. I loved all the series and truly believe that JJ Abrams will do the original series justice this May. Here's one for you, Yeager ;) :

Unsolved Mysteries...The new one on Spike is an abortion. Old stories with bad voice overs and terrible music.
