Ugh don't get me started on Deadwood :(

Wow... watched Deadwood a few times... I thought it was good but the language was "sharp".

I really liked:
  • Journeyman - cancelled
  • Sarah Connor Cronicles - heard it may be cancelled
  • Lipstick Jungle - gonna be cancelled
  • Fringe - seems safe for now

Unsolved Mysteries...The new one on Spike is an abortion. Old stories with bad voice overs and terrible music.

The original theme song used to scare the crap out of me as a kid.

I LOVED Dark Skies. About 10 years ago, I actually found someone who somehow obtained all the episodes of the series (including some unaired episodes) on VHS. I have no idea why that series never caught on. I was glued.

Rome, FreakyLinks, Journyman.

My wife and I were floored when Journeyman just vanished with no closure. I cant stand when they do that with series they do not renew!

Parents wouldn't let me watch Soap or Three's Company.
My older sibs couldn't watch I Dream of Jeannie because of the sexy outfit. We're very repressed.

Arrested development
the world according to andy richter

Arrested had a good run.

Richter was really funny - surprised it never went anywhere.

About the same time there was a show called Gregg the Bunny which is amazingly funny at times

I liked this HBO show called "John from Cincinnati" -- it was really weird and some of the acting stank but it also had some really complex and deep plotlines with the basic premise of the show being how people react when faced with a miracle.

when they are trying to "hip" up the show and the vampire character is trying to say "ai'ight" but keeps saying "AH-IGUT" - that was really funny.

David Milch of Deadwood fame was the writer of that show and it had quite a few of the Deadwood actors in it. I always wondered if HBO gave it to Milch to make up for the way they handled Deadwood.

It was a bad show and I didn't really care for it myself.

Holy crap....my buddies and I used to joke about that all the time at work.

AH-IGUT.........BLAH!

That was funny as hell.

Firefly has to be the biggest one I wish had made it, even though I didn't watch it when it aired.

Dead Like Me
Andy Richter Controls the Universe
and also with Andy: Quintuplets
Journeyman
Homefront

All were great shows.

A few others that I was liking before they got cancelled but still wasn't sure if they would really turn out well:

Point Pleasant
Drive

It could be because the show has been moved to Friday which is an ominous sign. The next show starts February 13th. I love the show but the writing could improve. They are deliberately delaying major events and the show could use more action instead of these filler side plots.
