Yes. More than ever since '14. I've been a true fan since 2001 (I was too young to really appreciate the 90s dynasty) and I don't think I've ever seen a more talented roster on this team. There are potential issues with depth but as long as we don't get decimated at several positions (most notably the OL and QB) I can see us making a deep playoff run.

NFC isn’t weak at the top end…
49ers are the best team in the league imo, and the Cowboys and Eagles aren’t far behind them.
It trails off after that, but the AFC has teams that are maybe not as strong as thought previously… Bills and Bengals for example.

There are a lot of games to be played...lots of injuries to occur...some teams you thought sucked or were mediocre will play better than expected and some you thought would be good will play crappy. It happens every year...just sit back enjoy the ride and remember it's just a game for our entertainment (and $$$s).

I'm so tired of thinking this team is Super Bowl bound, only to be disappointed in the playoffs. Right now the only question I care about is the Jets game -- can they find a way to win it? I think they can. Either way, next week the only thing I'm concerned about is whomever they play next. If they make it to the Super Bowl, THEN I'll get excited and hope they can win it.

This is how I have had to learn to live with the Cowboys since the 90s. One game at a time and a post season win is a successful season to me. I just hope I am alive long enough to see another Cowboys SB win someday ha ha.

The only thing that bothers me concerning the 49ers is their coaching. They are much better than we are in that department.

The last two years yes, but going back to the two defeats against Green Bay in the playoffs, they were both on our defence.
Hopefully this time we are a better team all around.

In the GB loss, we only scored 13 pts in the 1st 3 Quarters.
Haven't you seen this pattern before and continuously from our offense over the past 7 seasons?
Unfortunately for us, in the NFL the team that scores more points WINS!!!

yeah no team is a contenter right now lol.
I would not even talk about contenders till mid season, then more last couple of games of the season.

The media will start this crap before the season, after 1 game etc etc.
Early on teams will look good or bad, and few weeks later that has all changed.

Having lost rodgers the jets may or may not be able to compete with the cowboys, or with teams in their div.
That is worse than us losing our starting qb.
The cards are playing hard, but they are no match for dallas right now.
The pats are not good enough
Then we get 2 good opponents in a Row, SF and Rams . but that is weeks away, so many things can happen between now and then.

Hopefully those 2 teams are whole, and ready to play , then we get tested.
