2yrs/$7M get the job done?
It will begin too at some pointI guess minimal wage doesn't agree with him......
I agree. But everyone is always replaceable. Hankins is replaceable.I tend to think this is not overplaying his hand but simply Hankins just isn't motivated now to sign, show up to mini camps, etc. I suspect what he's going to do is just take a vacation and then around July or August, he knows teams will want his size and he can sign then.
Now if a team gives him a ridiculous offer today? Sure, he'll sign. But he knows his likely market and market rate and for that, he can just relax for 2-3 months and then start getting ready to play.
They’ve addressed safety pretty well when the opportunity aroseThat throws a red flag for me. He knows that JJ don’t like paying DT. He needs to get over that. D-Law sucked up a lot of the DT budget. But that’s JJ fault. It’s an impact position. Don’t know why they ignore Safety and DT.
His price will come down just like last yearI agree. But everyone is always replaceable. Hankins is replaceable.
Tell that to Quinton Bohanna. Not worth waiting on. Dude had 10 tackles last season. He improved the run defense but most any 330 pounder will.
All about "clicks" my friend.God I hate reports that don’t really report anything. Lol
Truthfully, we need 2 sign a DT now. Maybe 2.
Resort to the draft and move on
Yeah I do. Hankins is an average NT….FACT.
LOL.
Yeah the front office is definitely on top of the DT situation.
You suckers fell for it……. Again.
Tell that to Quinton Bohanna.
I guess minimal wage doesn't agree with him......
Well, trading down six spots does net another pick, so that adds to the value of it. I don't have a problem doing what we did when we drafted Frederick if Dallas wants Smith but thinks his value is somewhere between our first and second picks.Yep, 6 whole picks later. Funny things to be seen here.
The difference between 26 and the top of the 2nd is equivalent to a 3rd-round pick. That's actually a big difference.Yep, 6 whole picks later. Funny things to be seen here.
Vets like Hankins, and TY Hilton, aren't interested in OTAs and training camp. They've already got money, know they won't get huge deals, so they value their time.I guess minimal wage doesn't agree with him......
He had 20 - he came to us mid-season and was inactive in 2 games and missed 4 games. Not worth waiting on. Dude had 10 tackles last season. He improved the run defense but most any 330 pounder will.
