Damn, he needs to get rid of that foot if his blood flow is causing problems in his groin area. Lot of folks don't like him, but I have always liked Prime.

I've got a blood clotting disorder and know this stuff can spiral out of control really quickly. You live each day knowing you could suddenly wake up to a clot anywhere in your body which could quickly become deadly if it dislodges and travels to your lungs, heart, or brain. From what I know of Deion's current health issues, he was experiencing symptoms of blood clots for weeks before seeking medical attention when this first began, which is very, very bad. The longer you let a clot go, the more damage is done to your vascular system and the probability of long term complications increases.

As a Boulder resident, CU Boulder grad, and huge Buffs fan, I really hope Deion is getting the best medical care possible. He has brought so much life to this city in such a short amount of time.

I know that this originated during the 2021 season when he suddenly lost blood flow to several of his toes which eventually had to be amputated. The root cause was several large blood clots in his left leg.

I wonder if Deion has an undiagnosed clotting condition? It is unusual for a guy as young/ fit as him to have this level of clotting without other risk factors being involved.

Scary when a once All World athlete ,that still stays fit can have all these health issues…..could possibly be hereditary so there’s that.
It doesn't need to be hereditary.

My exes step father was around the same age and was a medic in Vietnam. Some of the things that happened in his case were eerily similar. His big toe sustained a major injury and the circulation for it never quite got right even years after it healed, it led to an amputation that then led to further complications and, same issue, a lot of clotting.

After he had his foot removed he threw a clot from his groin while he was in rehab. even with quick response in the hospital he didn't make it.

Amputations are rough, even when it's as small as a toe. One reason I wasn't so easily dismissing him potentially losing a foot. Lots that can go wrong.

Hopefully, he brought his bags and had enough time to pack his Louie V.

The foot issue is from his turf toe from back in his days with Dallas, combined with the genetic history of blood clots in his family..
