Why does he need to be humbled?
Hard to find an NFL player that had a bigger ego than Deion. I was a fan of his game, but not a fan of his personality. I remember him talking about how he built that house referring to Atlanta’s stadium. He’s full of himself, but I wish him nothing but the best with his current situation.

You were a fan of his game, but weirdly do not understand that his ego and confidence are part of it. You also are acting delusional in the fact that you don't get that the majority of players have the same ego and confidence he did. He just was man enough to put his voice on it.

I understand all great players have an ego and confidence, but they didn’t display it like Deion. The day he was drafted he was all decked out like Michael Jackson. Jerry Rice never came off like that and neither did Jim Brown or Lawrence Taylor. Even Deion admitted he went over the top with some of his comments during his career. He referred to himself as Prime Time. His ego was over the top. He blamed it on his youth.

TO was pretty much the same way, full of himself.
Deion Sanders was Prime Time, and he proved it on the field. He's the best Cornerback in the history of the NFL.

Sad to see this happen to the most talented one-on-one coverage CB I ever saw on a field. I hope Prime Time gets well. I don't mind ego and bluster from a player that can back it up. Deion talked the talk and walked the walk.

Don't know why it will definitely humble him. Plenty of people with medical conditions, amputations, etc., are not humble. Humility is a state of mind, not a state of health.
Any setback on the field or in life can humble a person.

Have some grace, chap.
Why would you compare Deion to Jerry "Hot Tub" Rice, paranoid/divisive Jim Brown and the drug-addled LT?
Deion has a super ego but never sunk to their level.

Also, bloke, your backhanded compliment to Deion didn't work. You obviously suffer from Deion envy.

We’re not talking about off the field endeavors/issues, so try following along.

I've had blood clots 3 times, starting when I was just 23 years old. Last time I convinced docs to let me self-treat at home--couldn't afford another lengthy hospitalization. Learned to do heparin injections into my belly.

No trivial thing. Wishing the best for Deion.

Treatment usually doesn't involve surgery, so this is extra concerning.

You canna compare a man to another without considering the whole.
Why don't you apologize to Deion and move on?
You clearly lose on your backhanded attempts to denigrate a bloke when he's down.

Go start a fight with someone else. You become
more annoying every day. Entertain yourself by starting another stupid thread.
