How does Ryan continually gain more credibility than Romo. If the knock on Romo is what has he done? then what the HECK has Ryan done?!?!

It is a combination of what Ryan has done and hasn't done. What he has done: Drafted in the 1st round. What he hasn't done: Quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. If you combine those two and you are a writer for a nationally syndicated news agency, then Ryan is clearly better than Romo. It is so obvious...

Many still see the bobbled snap in Seattle when they think of Romo. They continue to see all the ill-timed mistakes that have plagued his career and until he wins a championship the lack of respect he receives will continue.

Why? Looking for actual reasons.

Well, most of them are clutch and have won the big one in a clutch way. Flacco especially. Only Rivers hasn’t won a ring and him and Tony may be on a par. But the rest of them, Ben, Tom, Aaron, Drew and Payton are all better QB's. Luck and Ryan not so much clutch if you ask me. Tony has been clutch at times, especially last season, but until he wins the big one he won’t crack the top 5. All of this of course is my humble opinion and have nothing but my naked eye observations to base this on.

I had Romo at number 5 before this past year. I had 1.Rodgers 2.Manning 3.Brady 4.Brees 5.Romo...

Going into this season I'd probably have it 1.Rodgers 2.Brady 3.Romo 4.Manning 5.Luck 6.Brees...

Am I crazy?

EDIT: forgot about Big Ben. He's definitely up there somewhere.

I'd probably put Ben 4th after Romo. I'm not sure what happened to Peyton last season, it seemed like he was injured.

Right now, there's only two QB's i'd take if offered for this season alone and that's Rodgers and Brady. Matt Ryan is such an overhyped QB, I don't get it. I think it's because the media is in love with his "Matty Ice" moniker.

This is like trying to get an honest take on politics from the established media.

If Romo played in the northeast, he'd be worshipped. But he plays here, so he'll never get an honest opinion from up there.

He'll shut his critics up for good these next two years. Watch.

You have be a football imbecile not to recognize him as elite. Or lack journalistic integrity.

There are five elite quarterbacks: Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees, and Romo. Luck is coming, and Manning and Brees are slipping.
