Even kids that are into sports aren't going this far. You may have a handful of high school kids who come on here, but I doubt it's often. It's a reach for anyone to think our bad attitudes on this board are negatively affecting the youth of today. Lol

I know a kid who's doing 20 years to life right now because he read a post here about how Jerry isn't a real football guy but he pretends to be.

It's an epidemic that no one wants to talk about.

Everyone always complains about the Jones family, but no one does anything about it.

That's because there is not much of anything YOU CAN do about it. It is a family owned, upper management run football franchise. There are not enough die hard fans around the nation and world willing to abstain from viewing or ticket supporting the Jones run Cowboys long term. All it takes to even derail that initiative is stringing some regular season games together. Look how long fans have tolerated the post season failures - it's been decades.

I love the Cowboys .Iv'e been watching since 1973 , but this team is playing uninspired football at the moment.I know we have all heard this before but their is a culture problem with this organization. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with this team,and have come to this conclusion.The coaching staff does not like the GM , how Jerry runs the show .As well as being to prying into the coaching ,in other words he is in the way .And as a result the coaching is not able to be its best because of confusion created by the prying GM.I think the players do not like what is being called ,and do not have confidence in the coaching staff.Conclusion this is a poorly run football organization ,and no one believes in one another.

No I don't think that's what it is I mean you're entitled to your opinion but these people are all professionals they're all millionaires basically running and playing a kids game I mean this is a game but it's also a profession when you sign those contracts there are a lot of real world incidents here where they hate their bosses there's a movie about it they literally a culture of not liking the things that your owners or your bosses your CEOs that they do but you still are paid to do your job you have to ignore it and you have to do your job you can't just lay down and go you know what I'll show my boss I'm just gonna play bad coach bad and be bad no that's not how it works...

I get your point but I'm telling you right now Mike McCarthy making 8 million a bunch of these coaches making at least 1,000,000 each all these players are multi millionaires they have a job to do they're professionals they are accountable for each and everyone of their actions or inactions on and off the field and they literally are paid to play better than their pay playing and paid to coach better than their coaching and it's on them stop using Jerry in the front office as a scapegoat they are not the first organization in the history of work relationships to where it's uncomfortable or you hate your bosses or you hate your job it doesn't matter most of these players could have left most of these coaches can quit or not sign new contracts why are they still here why do many of them wanna come back there's a lot of players that left here that were still trying to come back here years later if he is that bad why do you stay so long?

If the culture was truly that bad these players all had a choice you know Prescott as a rookie signing his first big contract his second contract after he got hurt he already now knows better why would he wanna stay here he could have got this money from anyone if the coach is so bad and it's so hard to work here why are all these players resigning they have choices they can make this money elsewhere they will have a lot of people bidding for their services and yet they all choose to stay here why did Zach Martin re up when he could have just retired or went elsewhere?.​

Welcome to the Internet when you choose to post expect replies and some of them won't agree with you if you don't like it don't post at all there is no rules on how we're supposed to respond I mean are you saying that we should be running this place like Jerry Jones and a bunch of yes men is that what you're saying because that would be very hypocritical I mean you're tired of the Jones family yeah we know this there are already 75 other threads so me saying that I'm 100% correct why don't you just post on that thread instead of making your own little island of a thread...

Quite obvious a lot of people are unhappy with the ownership for the last 28 years we need a special little thread from someone who hardly posts so yeah I decided to say that as equally as he had the right to post whatever he wants I'm equally have the right to post whatever I want and you're a straight up hypocrite for saying otherwise because what you're saying to me is the exact same thing as what I said to him isn't that odd are you the sheriff of replies did they make you a full time know it all moderator? That old man keeps himself in the public eye. If he doesn't want to be bashed, he shouldn't put himself out there. It just comes with the territory.

It's a good lesson for youngins. If you can't take the heat, don't jump in the skillet.

Unfortunately, as it’s been said in other threads..the only thing that fixes this is Father Time. Maybe Stephen gets smart enough to hire a real GM.

Sadly, that won't matter. Even if Stephen doesn't want to manage the cap or draft once Jerry is gone, the team building philosophy won't change with a new GM. They believe in their process, and have said as much.
