I disagree. Peyton Manning was considered a legit QB, with only the "winning the big one" monkey on his back. He didn't reach the playoffs until his 3rd season. Then lost 3 playoff games in a row before winning his first. Losing those 3 by a total of 50 points.

Elway lost his first 2 playoff games by a margin of 31 points

The reigning SB Champion lost his first 2 playoff games by 26 points.

Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, & Steve Young all lost their first playoff games.

Romo has made it to 2 playoff games in less than 2 seasons. Losses totalling 4 points.

I'm having a real hard time correlating playoff success early in a career to the legitimacy of a QB.

It's borderline ******** to think that Romo "can't" win a playoff game. The guy has clearly shown he has the ability. Whether or not he "will" win a playoff game is still a question. The smart money is on "he will". Where's your money redskins1? Why don't you put it where your mouth is?

Two playoff games does not make a career.

If he loses his next 2, 3, 4 playoff games then you got something.

If he goes on to win the Super Bowl this year or next...how significant are these loses you keep referring to?

Manning wins a super bowl and people are making him out to be a football god. Eli is nowhere Peyton's league. Nor Romo's league for that matter. I just can't help wonder what Romo's rep will be like when he wins a super bowl. Romo will be idolized. Eli is Eli. 20 tds and 20 ints and tons of mistakes. His ring shouldn't change that.
