Go try out!

I think Dak understands having critics means having to constantly prove his talent to people who have none.

The guy completes 17 consecutive passes in a game for a Cowboys record, has over 70 percent completion percentage during a four game win streak, and people still want better.

This board can be downright pathetic to read these days. We have won 4 games in a row and now are easily in position to get to the playoffs and you still have these guys who want to crap all over Dak at every turn. Do these people not watch other games and see every QB out there misses throws? I have seen Rodgers, a supposed god, miss many throws this year.

Dak isn't perfect but many on here have some agenda against Dak and make him out to be Nathan Peterman. It's ridiculous. You'd think after such a huge win, this board would be fun to read. But nope, you have this garbage.
Don't care about other qb's so don't get why you and others mention them. He isn't Nathan Peterman he is just avg at best. Crapping on Dak doesn't have jack to do with the overall team though so that's another thing I don't get. I'm happy they won because I didn't think they would but that doesn't mean I don't see warts either. Last night like another poster said earlier he showed the good and bad with his game. I just wish he'd more consistently show the good instead of the balance being too close to call most games. That isn't asking for too much.

We need offensive coaches that know how to adjust to the QB's strengths instead of trying to force the QB to adjust to their limited schemes.

Ding ding ding. Look at Goff with Jeff Fisher vs Goff with McVey. Night and day. Mahomes with Andy Reid. Brees with Payton. Brady and Bill. Coaching definitely matters especially for Qbs.

The only real outlier is Rodgers with McCarthy. Who is not much better than Garrett. Packers have been wanting to run him out of town for years now.

Uhhhhh because that is the basis for this thread? Go look at the thread title and get back to me on why the other QBs are relevant.

Fumble aside, I think 24 of 28 is plenty good enough for a QB. You can pick it apart all you want but you would be happy with those stats from anyone but Dak.
Not true Mariotta had a game similar last week and I saw it was fools gold. If you didn't watch the game though you'd be impressed by the numbers with no context. The numbers have to match good on field play not just be good numbers only.

29 wins, 3rd most for QBs in the last 3 seasons. Only 25 years old.

I’m disgusted with how disgraceful a lot of these posters are.

It’s clear which posters hold onto their egos, rather than provide an honest assessment. Pathetic

Don't matter. You brought up winning 4 in a row which has nothing to do with this thread so why can't I bring up something that has nothing to do with this thread and is more speaking to your post?

So you want Garrett and SL here too then?

It is true, you just dont want it to be. Dak won. What other context matters? I get he isn't perfect, but he did have a decent game last night. BY no means am I ignoring the fact he has some things that have got to be cleaned up, but he did enough to win.

I just showed you why it wasn't true. You asked the question of if someone but Dak did what he did would you give it props correct? I said no and gave you a recent example of that not being the case and you are now talking about wins now? Y'all need to get rid of that move the goalpost energy y'all coming with. Who the hell said anything about him not doing enough to win? Y'all Dak superfans are shameless. I was only speaking on what your post said about his numbers.

I see it the same way from the anyone but dak folks. I guess it's perspective. Seems all I hear is you can't win with Dak, but then he does and they find some other reason to say it doesn't count. He DID have 24 of 28, it's not disputable. He did have good on field play. He made some mistakes, but he played well enough to win.

Here's the head scratcher for me with fans. Dak has the second most wins of any QB since entering the league. If any QB is capable of pulling this off, why is that?

Because we have one of the best head coaches in the league? The top organizational structure? One of the best general managers?

We must have a mighty, MIGHTY fine brain trust capable of creating such a well-oiled machine that any QB can rank No. 2 in wins over a 3-year stretch.

Its always perspective because you hear can't win with Dak and take it literally because you're pro Dak. I'm more eh on him so I take it as not literally can't win but similar to Alex Smith in KC you're good but your "goodness" is kinda capped. You knew with Smith in KC they were only going to get so far and that's how some see Dak.

Perspective also has you making phantom discussions up like Dak seeing ghost in the pocket. Who said he didn't have 24/28? You're right its not disputable but it also wasn't apart of the discussion either. You're original question said if somebody besides Dak did this you wouldn't say anything was wrong with it and I disagree and showed you proof of my answer. I think the D played good enough to win the Offense Dak included yeah right. Scoring 13 isn't going to win many games my man. They would have 2 wins maybe 3 because the Giants game would've went to OT scoring 13 pts. That's fools gold over a season but so go get that dopamine hit from any win and neglect to see if this is sustainable. 13pts and winning isn't for any long stretch.

I dont recall saying anything about a ghost in the pocket? Heck I agree it isn't good enough to win a lot of games, but it was good enough last night. That's all I am saying. Frankly I am not pro Dak. I am Pro Cowboys and at this moment he is our best option.
Anyhoo, good talk, I gotta go huntin.
