Sign in if you refuse to complain about RW after a 20 point win

I'm pretty happy with Roy. Not with his receiving production per se, but with his attitude.

He hasn't been anywhere near where he should be yet, but at least he has no illusions about it. The competition and pride that The three WRs on our team show with eachother is great. They all seem to get along very well also.

Roy should have not played if his ribs are causing him to alligator arm the balls over the middle. I am not giving up on him because I think the Miles Austin threat will start to open things in the middle for him and Witten.

Just cut him. He is a waste of a roster space. Trade for a quality WR like TO. That's what we need.

As to the original post, I'm in!

When Roy Williams sub par performance is the story of the day after flat out dominating the Falcons yesterday, then agenda doesn't even begin to describe it.

Anyone who knows my posts knows I'm not big fan of the RW trade. Thus far I haven't been given reason to change my stance. However, I'll take a win ANY week of the season. If we do it with RW catching one ball for 16 yards or RW catching 7 balls for 132 and 2 TDs, I don't care. I'll take the wins any way they come.

What's so funny about my post?

Because, for my sake anyway, It is not just about him. If he was not drawing safety help do you think Miles would be having such big days. Miles is man to man everywhere that I have seen. WHy is that - partially Witten, partially RW.

We won the game, but I guess that only means something for the QB position - all others have to put up stats to be considered good. The QB is only required to win the game - stats mean nothing for him - Right?

So what RW did not have a big day....we WON. Ausitn did. THis is something the Cowboy fans, players, media, front office, coaches etc......this is something we need to get away from. We are a football team. We need to STOP with the self imposed pressure to only APPRECIATE winning a certain way. This kind of mentality is why we have not functioned as a FOOTBALL team in a long time. If we are not throwing bombs or getting sacks or getting INTs or getting long TD runs, the whole Cowboy nation comes unglued.

I have seen this team QUIT when they give up embarassing plays. Heck this defense gave up an ENTIRE drive because on 3rd and 2 we stopped them, but Bowen jumped offsides and gave the Falcons a 1st down. Show some backbone and stop them again, don't escort them to the endzone because you are dissapointed. I have seen this team apologize when they don't win like WE ALL THINK they should. This is a classic case of being a frontrunner, of being a team that is only interested in winning while LOOKING good.

Sure I want Roy to be succseful...but if you want to complain about something, complain about ALL OF THE PENALTIES

We should NOT let the media off the hook writing aritcles about Roy Williams after we beat this team by 20. The MEDIA said we would lose...the oddsmakers had us as 2 point underdogs....so since the MEDIA was WRONG...they should man up and talk about a team they underestimated. I am not interested in the media and their articles about Roy Williams....all that is a way to DEFLECT that they were WRONG about this team and this game...so any aricles written by people complaing about Roy Williams is a way for them to build credability with the fans who are upset with Roy as well. But I ain't buying it...if you wrote we would lose, if you wrote we are not in the falcons league.....then man up and talk about the GAME!!!!!!!!!!!

totally agree, its hard to play when you have bruised ribs, even ex cowboys all pro larry brown said so;

give it time, roy willl do better

I will complain about the ridiculous penalties, not what #11 didn't do. Just wasn't a good game for the guy. Others stepped up. The way it should be. Team played as a team.

Of course, I reserve the right just in case #11 says something stupid this week.

And as for the "rib" issue.

I witnessed, like everyone else did yesterday, Romo getting clobbered on his first scramble. That dude was hurting the rest of the game. And STILL finished the game.

I won't complain. Roy was not happy with his play and that is good enough for me.

Signing. Especially in a game where he's just coming back from hurt ribs. I refuse to do it and i'm no longer entering threads where idiots ***** and moan about his performance.

I'll wait till the next 10 games pass by before I decide rather Roy Williams is just a loser or not.

He played badly yesterday, and that sucks, but thankfully the most important thing is that we won. He's coming off injury and is rusty but yeah he should still make those catches. It happens.

With Romo now very comfortable with Austin and Crayton and of course Witten this will allow him to work a lot more with Roy to try and become just as comfortable with him. I think by the time December rolls around, when things get dicey, he's going to have 4 guys he's very confident and comfortable going to and that will make us very hard to stop.

I guess you could even say 5 guys cause I think he'll be more comfortable with Bennett by then as well.

Romo hung him out there and got him killed. Damaged ribs are the incredibly painful. It is hard to take a deep breath, let alone play football. Give it time.

At the end of the day....if someone told you before the game that your leading WR would have 2 TDs and 150+ yards receiving...are you suggesting you would be happy with that AS LONG IT WAS THE GUY MAKING THE MOST MONEY?

We will need Roy to play better before this is all said and done...but I don't care if it was Rowdy putting up those numbers...as long as SOMEBODY does that has a star on their helmet.

So you really think KC had any coverage schemes planned for Miles Austin - That is what you are telling me right. They had some exotic schemes or plans for help on his side - is that what you are telling me?

Miles is playing great - there is no doubt - I won't take that away from him, but when teams set out to try and stop him like they do Witten then his numbers are going to go down. That is just the way it is!

Right now there's no safety help. No way in hell his YAC is going to be as good as it is right now. Right now guys just can't tackle him. But eventually teams are going to give Witten less coverage and give more to Miles.

You are right teams will be paying more attention to Austin. Thing is you can't double or scheme one player without giving up something some wheres else.

We traded for a guy to put up these numbers and he's currently being out played by an UDFA out of mommoth. I'm sorry but there's no way I can't complain about how RW prefers until he performs.
