This is so enticing, it belongs here, not the NFL forum.

Signing Wilson and Wagner forced Seattle to release starting DEFENSIVE TACKLE Tony McDaniel. And they have a Kam Chancellor problem to pay, too.

Do it, Jerry!

Can you imagine adding Hardy, Gregory, Crawford, Lawrence, and McDaniel to the defensive line in two years? (Crawford was hurt the previous year.)

This is like the La'el Collins good fortune.

Get on the bat phone, Jerry. Do your thing.

I forgot to mention, McDaniel is a 1-technique, exactly what Dallas needs. He would replace Hayden as a starter.

He can even rush the passer fairly well as a nose tackle.

6-foot-7, 305 pounds

Seahawks fans say that McDaniel underperformed last year

They're just loaded at tackle. Dallas isn't. This is a great opportunity. Seattle fans hope to re-sign him at a cheaper rate.

There's probably a waivers process that will have to happen first. Depending on the cost, the Cowboys may not get a chance at him.

We'll see.

Can someone break down the waivers process to see if there's even a possibility?

Edit: He's 30, so he probably isn't going to get more than 2-3 years from the Cowboys, and would likely want more than that.

See what McDaniel is willing to play for and if it is less than Mincey wants in a renegotiation, than make a decision on which one you want.

I have a feeling some other teams will be willing to offer more than the Cowboys. The Giants might be in the mood if they are considering dumping JPP now.

Interesting, I'm sure at that size he wouldn't be getting tossed around like a rag doll. ie: Hayden in the Green Bay game

Would love his length at 1-tech. Much harder to throw over. But don't remember him batting too many throws down

Doubt it happens..

Dallas will be happy to use Hayden until they find a guy who isn't one dimensional.

Hayden is one of the worst DTs i have seen,i would fire the DC immediately for continually playing him if it was anybody else than Marinelli.

I'm in, but so are other NFL squads. probably NFC teams...likely NFC East rivals, especially the Gnats. Which would be another reason to bring him on in for an inquiry at least.

Bishop, McClain, Whaley,, why does everyone think Hayden is our only option.
Out of this group, I doubt Hayden even makes the team this year.
